I would also have shipped Molly with Justin if they were old enough. ^_^

Sue gets McCain...

Now Paulo is the greatest problem for me. I think he fits well with Tess, Lucy, Rachel and Jasmine, but I also think he would be better of in a monogamous relationship and I would feel bad about those left out. ^_^ But... Lucy, I think, because that is my favourite right now. And because I feel they do have a better fit than the others.

Therefore Tess goes with Augustus. No idea why, I just think they would fit together somehow.

Rachel could aquire David. Then we will at least keep most of the trouble in one place.

And Jasmine? No idea. Perhaps... No, I cannot think of anything. Especially since I am laughing so at the idea of Rachel and David together. ^_^

MikeXLucy all the way

I don't trust any of the relationships in BCB to last long enough, so by default I'm going with Yashy×Blur.

Now you see this is an interesting topic because there are two ways to look at it. One, the couples you want to happen, and two, the couples that will probably happen.

First when it comes down what I want to happen, my ideal pairings would have to be:

Mike and Lucy because even though it's bit cliche, it appeals to me for some strange reason that even I am not sure of. Maybe I just want to see the two childhood friends work out all their problems and be happy together.

Paulo and Jasmine because they make an awesome couple, they enjoy the same things, laugh at the same jokes, and are all around happy together.

Abbey and Daisy because Abbey really needs a nice girl who is willing to treat him right and help out.

David and whoever will put up with his shenanigans.

Molly and Justin as childhood friends that would hopefully evolve into a relationship later on.

McCain and Sue because lets face it, this pairing is flat out awesome.



I'm not entirely sure on any of these for the most part, but be it a gut feeling or an educated guess, these are what I think will most likely happen:

Too be perfectly honest it could really go either way for Lucy, she could easily go out with Paulo or Mike if neither of them had a significant other. If I had to make a guess, it would be that it will end with Mike and Lucy together, and this has nothing to do with me being Mike x Lucy I promise you that. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Lucy ended up with nobody.

Now lets just say Lucy doesn't end up with Paulo, I personally do not think Jasmine will remain in the story forever, call it a hunch, but I think something will happen that removes her from the equation. Now who would he be paired with assuming Lucy and Jasmine are out of the way. The immediate answer most people would go for is Tess. This is very unlikely considering she will most likely maintain her disposition towards Paulo and that it would be wrong for her to date him and yadda yadda. Now if all three of them are eliminated from the equation who will he go with? That is a question I can't answer accurately, though it would be my guess that yet another girl gets added to the cast.

On the subject of Abbey and Daisy, I truly believe that this relationship will work out as long as Daisy stays faithful to Abbey and lets go of most of her feelings for Mike.

Other than these three pairings, I don't really think we have enough information to go on to fully examine the other couples, but it's all just my opinion anyways.

Taeshi has stated that she likes Sue and McCain together. So I view that one as highly likely, although I doubt they will be very much in focus.

Yeah, Amaya and Sue are a pretty cool couple at first glance, but it wouldn't exactly make much sense. Now McCain and Sue on the other hand...

It always gets an emotional rise out of me, it's just so sad they can't be happy together right now.

Lucy has a truckload of issues to work out both personally and with Mike before MikexLucy can hope to have a chance. So does Mike for that matter...but there is also Sandy, all evidence points to Mike and Sandy being deeply in love with each other (even diehard MikexLucy fans have to admit that) and well, I fear something tragic or something major at the very least would have to happen before MikexLucy is possible. MikexSandy has it's own obvious problems of course, but it's not like it's going to fall apart at the drop of a hat...

I doubt Sandy actually loves Mike.

Recall in the third grade when she used him to better her education. Recall now when her life is anything but normal and I feel she uses Mike as an escape from her world so she can stop feeling bad about herself and her life. Her devotion is also showed by how she totally loves to visit him and make time for him (not). Even if her parents won't allow her there are ways to compromise and settle but Sandy seems to busy to actually care. For the amount of time Mike has remained faithful to her ass she could have at least made sure she could visit him as often as she could.

So I don't think she really loves him, she's just using him again.

It could be that once they get together irl and do stuff that they'll just be bored or maybe one of them won't like how it's going. Having a relationship with someone while their not actually their is a whole different experiance than being there with the partner. Or who knows, maybe by some force Mike will start developing feelings for Lucy again? Perhaps after the play? Or maybe he or someone will make him realize what a jerk he acted like when Lucy confessed? I unno theres a lot of possibilities more than people think. Mike and Lucy do have some things to deal with first though, no doubt.

I'd like to think MikexLucy would be happy pony hour but we all know it won't.

I think it's going to be one of the most tumultuous and painful relationships in the comic, but in the end it will all be worth it. I hope they would find happiness in the other and perhaps with Mike's encouraging and love-filled prodding Lucy could work on her dependency issues and by the time she is an adult she could outgrow her habit of being a tsundere now. Who knows? I know it will be filled with pain and heartbreak but the only silver lining is the love that they may share for true love is timeless and purest of all.

If MikexLucy does happen while it may be a bumpy road I like to hope that they will finally be happy and share a love that few get to experience in their lifetimes.

Not true, I think. If she was using him I do not think she would have taken the trouble to post him presents or pictures of herself. While it is true that she might have taken the trouble to visit him more often (she already tried that once, but then Michael was away - not really her fault), I doubt that means that he is her "toy".

For the record I'm so much against MikexLucy as I am for MikexSandy (just thought it was worth mentioning in case a shipping war breaks out).
@Sandy: And their has been no evidence that Sandy has done anything manipulative, not to mention their crush started at a very young age, I find it hard to believe Sandy is being manipulative.

Because obviously there is a good chance that whoever gets together will love one another forever and never commit adultery or get bored and leave.

If we are going to use the same logic that applies to shipping, comics or stories in general then yes, yes there is. ^_^

I just think that Lucy has too many issues with her dependency on Mike. She needs to have a good, solid relationship with someone else before she can try again with that particular relationship.

Augustus and Daisy are a cute couple, BUT that would mean Abbey doesn't have anybody and that's no good. And I mean, do you know how pissed he would be if he knew that Augustus was pounding his ex girlfriend. It would not be pretty

But if I had to have someone else date Daisy than Abbey, I'd have Paulo do it because he is very tame around Daisy and it would be hilarious to see how awkward he acts.
