I want her to be more dedicated to Abbey as much, probably even more, than you do, but I have to face the fact that she is still very much so into Mike and that won't change for a while.
It's basically like Paulo and Lucy if you want a comparison, Paulo has always crushed on Lucy since he was in 5th grade, same with Daisy and Mike. Even though Paulo is dating someone else, he still has heavy feelings for Lucy that will impact his actions. Though I think Paulo is a bit more strong willed than Daisy and would not just dump Jasmine if Lucy came out of the blue and confessed love for him.

I also think that Paulo and Jasmine make probably the most awesome couple in this story. I mean, Paulo and Jasmine separated are awesome to begin with, but when they start dating, the cool levels reach a magnitude that can't be described with words. Paulo being the hot somali that he is and Jasmine being the intelligent, attractive, and funny newcomer that she is. They both have a similar sense of humor, like the same things, have friendly banter, and help each other out. Not to mention they look really cute together.
It makes me really wish that Jasmine would stay in the comic forever, but unfortunately I doubt she will remain as Paulo's girlfriend forever. I guess we will have to savor the time we have with them and appreciate the miracles that Jasmine has worked.

Hmm... Yes, Paulo and Jasmine do make a good couple. I think Paulo is being (almost uncharacteristically) chivalrous around her, and she is - well, we really cannot tell how she would have been otherwise. But since you mention it, I do want them to stay together more, if only so that I can get a better image of how they are together.

Paulo gets a bad rap, but at the end of the day he's even more chivalrous than Abbey who is saccharine about it. He handled the Lucy crisis so well I almost wish he were the main character until Susan wrote that magnificent fanfic. She wrote him with a crude kind of Augustus quality to him, but she hates him more than I do. I can't bring myself to hate Sandy either, for that matter, except when Susan writes her.

I love how Carmen is the one PauloxDaisy fighter left, along with Souppy. I always get impressed when people support that pairing because that one does require a bit more thinking and reading between the lines. I think Titanium Dragon has even caught the tension. Though liking this pairing will only make things more complicated!!! Since they're basically star-crossed lovers at this point.
