No it's $600,000 to pay all his bills and and such as well as feed his family and then $400,000 left to spend on his buisness.
I don't see anything wrong here.

But seriously, It amazes me how much money singular people have in that country and how frequent it is.
Not to say my own country hasn't got it's share rich people, but it's just that the class system here doesn't see so in your face as in the US.

I think Ace had it right. After operating expenses and taxes, he was left with 600k profit from his company. Then after 200,000 for personal bills and whatever, he had 400,000 left to reinvest into his company.
I wouldn't be so opposed to tax increases if the government weren't so terrible at spending money. They could go a long way toward closing the deficit if they eliminated wasted spending and closed tax loopholes. If the super wealthy can get out of paying taxes, why would raising the tax rate do anything?

The majority of the deficit is covered by Social Security and military expenses. Closing the loopholes is a good start, but considering things in scale it's like putting a band-aid on a breaking dam.

That's what the democrats are trying to do though, and the republicans are like 'Alright, let's see, oooohh, the EPA uses a lot of money and we could make more money by dumping pollutants into the atmosphere! Let's cancel that!'. Shit like that happens, the rich asshole lobbyists get rid of the good government programs that protect us from the zealotry of big business.
Oh hey what's this? The US Chamber of Commerce, the largest lobbyist group in existence, is funded by a conglomerate of Oil companies? Well shit, then it's not such a big surprise when you look at their stances.
The Chamber's positions include:
Supports corporate globalization/free trade and outsourcing
Opposes financial regulation
Opposes the DISCLOSE Act
Opposes healthcare reform and the Affordable Health Care for America Act (Obamacare for those who don't know much about American politics)
Opposes action on climate change (That and they legitimately want the EPA shut down, what the fucking fuck?)
Supported the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (The stimulus package)
Neutral on social questions such as abortion and gay marriage
The Chamber campaigned against portions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Argued a case all the way to the supreme court opposing mandatory immigration status checks by employers in Arizona. (Ha, they pretend to be about supporting the American economy but they want to have illegals work so they can pay them less money.)
Supported corporate personhood and allowing corporations to spend unlimited sums on electioneering via an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court Citizens United v FEC. It's position is opposed by some advocates for independent businesses.
So let's take a look see here for a second,
Supported the stimulus package
Opposes healthcare reform
"Oh hey thanks for the billions of dollars suckers! Wait, you're spending money on the citizens!? BULLSHIT, we want that money you fuckers! Quickly, call Fox News so we can spread word of these horrid deeds! Helping commoners? Feh."

Four hundred thousand dollars.
Please.
Please.
My family lives on two grand a month from social security - which would rapidly become $0 if the Republicans get their way - and barely has any money left to spend, and this guy is complaining about four hundred thousand dollars.
Being conservative is stupid, anyway. Progression is always healthy in human society, so when a group of people whine about gay marriage and abortion, they're stupid. Stupid faggots.
