Wow, I entirely forgot that I made this thread. Good to see it's been getting some use. 
I'm around a 4 today. Nothing really good has been happening to me lately, besides a new girl who showed up in my Theory of Knowledge class. And I didn't have that class today because of our odd-even block day schedule on Wednesdays and Thursdays. She has an amazing voice (from the couple sentences I've heard her say, since she's kinda quiet) and it seems like she might have some interest in me since she keeps peeking over in my direction every once in a while. We also had this short in-class assignment where we had to turn to someone next to us and talk about something I can't remember (had to do with CAS hours) and she turned to me almost as soon as the teacher mentioned it.
Although I've made terrible assumptions before, so I could just be overly optimistic.
One of my crushes was really down today (she got on the bus and she was crying) and since I couldn't get her to talk about it, I had no way to make her feel better. It always makes me feel terrible when I want to help but the person won't let me.
Also one of my computers didn't want to cooperate today.
And I have an LA essay due tomorrow that basically decides whether or not I'm grounded from everything video game related for the rest of the semester. Luckily I'm only ~305 words away from being done. Unluckily it's on Song of Solomon, and I hate this book almost as much as I hated Great Expectations and Their Eyes Were Watching God from freshman year.

9/10. Got my chakras opened and an awesome massage, and bought tons of percussion shit with my friend who came back from college. Was supposed to see the boyfriend but bad shit happened with him and his family so that did not happen and I am left worrying about him. At first college friend was mad that I ditched them for my boyfriend but seeing as what happened they are now coming over to watch Jim Henson's The Labyrinth with me (new favourite movie!!) with munchkins and hot chocolate. It would be a 10/10, but I am still scared for what's going to happen to the boyfriend... very not fun stuff goes down with that

7/10. Might've actually confirmed that the girl I mentioned a few posts ago is interested in me.
I noticed a couple of times over the last few days that she would occasionally glance at me, but I couldn't tell if she was looking at me or the clock behind me with just my peripheral vision. So I managed to glance at her as soon as I saw her eyes dart towards me. And she actually was looking at me. Our eyes met for like a second before she glanced back towards the front of the room, but this happened like 5 times over the rest of the period.
We also had another one of those "turn to some people and talk about blah" things and she asked if I wanted to be a group with her almost immediately.
But I have a bunch of homework and general school stress, and I'm trying to learn how to play a new character in Super Smash Brothers Brawl (the Ice Climbers) which keeps taking up an hour or two of my afternoon.
Also, came up with an idea for a webcomic about the role-playing game Paranoia, and got a couple of my friends to join in and help. I'm going to be the artist, while a couple of my friends are going to do scripting and character design and such.
That's... about it.

Just adopted a cute kitty
. She was abandoned by my friend's Ex-girlfriend and he felt bad because he is allergic to the kitty so I took her in . A very nice stress reliever to have around our house. The end is FINALLY visible with my degree, I actually had an awesome idea about my research, and I heard good news about a possible job in the UK. The only downside so far is that I still can't climb or snowboard for some time because of my back.

Found out yesterday that two girls I had been interested in for the last 5 months both got boyfriends in the last week. So my options are down to the one new girl.
My parents have partially grounded me because I've had a difficult time re-adjusting to school after Winter Break, so my Internet time has been drastically cut down. Although, I have so many devices that have Internet that my dad only managed to block two of them (my desktop and my netbook), which leaves my two iPods (I'm on one of them right now), my 3DS, and possibly my old crappy laptop.
Found out that I have a lunch period with the new girl, so I have something of a chance to get to know her better. I've been seriously considering just being straightforward wih her and confessing before I get my hopes up too high, but I'm neither sure of what to say nor able to imagine a positive outcome considering I've known her for all of two weeks.

I went to a school basketball game with friends, played the guessing game with one of said friends to find out who she had feelings for (never found out, said she'd think about telling me because she wanted me to know), and I got a 101 on a history quiz. Boss way to start out the quarter.
There's only one thing I can think of that would bump this day up to a 9. And it probably won't happen, but that's okay, because today was a good day~
I'm also at the point of tired where I couldn't be unhappy even if I wanted to, so that might help.

10/10. When I started my shift at work, my coworkers told my I'd been working too hard lately and that the other guys with whom I share responsibility don't work enough so they basically did all my work for me so I didn't have to go out of my way to do anything until my other coworkers showed up to finish what they assumed was my initiative. I shared a beer with them as my shift was ending. When I walked out the door, they were all laughing their asses off from some joke I'd told as I was leaving. Christ, I wish I could bring those guys to whatever job I have next.

5. It's a snow day, which means I get a three day weekend to catch up on the massive amount of homework I accidentally put off this week due to a massive history project (which was going to be due today and I hadn't gotten it finished).
However, I finally asked the girl to the dance yesterday, but she needed to ask her parents if she could go. And she would've told me today. So I have to find a way to contact her so I can find out what's going on.

6. I didn't end up going to the dance, and it turns out she couldn't have gone anyways. However, I now know there's mutual interest, which was the main goal of the endeavor.
I also got my massive history project finished and turned in, and don't have any more major assingments until this weekend.
And my parents are out of town until Sunday, so I get a week with the house to myself. My mom gave me her credit card to buy myself some food yesterday, and I got a ton of pasta and other stuff so I'll actually eat this week.

The best days of my life have no rank. Holding them up to the same grading standard as all the inferior days wouldn't do them justice. 10/10 is outstanding, and it's the kind of day that comes along maybe once a month, but it's not a life-changing event.
