Hello people!

Neko the Leaper is a friend of mine that has been working on stuff like these and told me that it would be great if I could post it around places, so this seemed an appropiate place to do so.

She makes them with clay, which is then painted and covered with some kind of liquid that protects the paint and the piece overall. It ends up looking shiny. They are, by the way, handmade.

She's also been taking on commissions (she made me an incredible Amaya necklace), but has been kinda indecisive regarding the prices, so I would like you to comment about what you think about the quality of her stuffs and answer the poll above. It could help her.

Anyways look at the kind of stuff she makes:

So what do you think?

Oh. Wow these all look amazing, too bad I can't buy them. As far as a fair price goes, it all depends on how much it costs to make them (rule #1 never have the price lower than the cost. But from the buyer's point of view, 5 bucks seems like enough

$10 to gather sales, $30-40 if we're talking what this stuff is really worth.

Can I buy that cardcaptor sakura thing for Vero?
  • #3

These are great, if you can get those prices solid then I would buy one
  • #4

You mean the key right Suit?

I think that one is already sold, but I can tell her to make another. So $10 sounds right to start up huh?

Also added a pic of the Amaya necklace she made for me. My cellphone camera sucks though, wish I had a better cam.

Sure! Tell her I'll send $25 if she can make and send another one of the key symbols with the two tiny wings, just like in the picture.

Maybe she could use an Etsy site to market her stuff if she wanted? 'Cause that's pretty damn impressive.

@Jerk: Yeah I was also thinking she needs to get some online presence. I'm not really sure about Etsy though, as she doesn't really have inventory (Just a few here and there), what she makes most are requests. I was thinking something along the lines of having her own small site or something like that.

@SuitCase: Sure, I'll tell her as soon as I get the chance.

I just want to say that this work here is very well done and the foodstuff make me hungry.
  • #9

I love the Amaya necklace most of all but that stuff is well made. I would definitely consider paying about $15 for one of those, especially the Amaya necklace.
  • #10

I'd be willing to pay $30 if I could think of a commission I really wanted, but I can't right now. I'm more a fan of metal art than clay and whatever idea I come up with for a commission would have to reflect something that would look good in clay to start with like the food or character things. But I am totally interested in this.

Ok SuitCase, got a response from her and said that the backside of the key is actually flat (and lacks details). She also said that she can make one with both sides detailed if you want. Go ahead?
