Jazz is one of the few characters without an extreme problem. McCain, Sue, and Amaya being the others. Then again, we still have time to reveal dark secrets, muahaha.
I really hope Jazz gets a little time in the spotlight to develop before the inevitable breakup with Paulo. From what I've seen so far, she's the best option for him (maaaaaaayyybe Daisy also). However, I am sure his feelings for Lucy will screw that up.

Actually, I think the best option for Paulo would be either Lucy or Tess. Tess is on her way out, though.
Come to think of it, if Lucy finally gave up on Mike romantically, and Paulo learned of this, would he stick it out with Jasmine, or dump her for Lucy? A tough choice there, though Paulo might initially lean to the former. He'd wish to be with Lucy, but he'd feel terrible about breaking up with Jasmine, without even the excuse that she's not making the effort to spend more time with him.

Is it odd that she broke down into tears and hysterics at the thought of a breakup during that slumber party chapter... and yet now she's suddenly level-headed and forgiving?
Still, its good to have a non-McCain character with some perspective.
If Jasmine continues to develop this way I'd consider joining that fanclub...

I think it's because in that chapter, she and Paulo would have ended on bad terms and it would have been her fault.

Sandy's visiting next week, i.e. Christmas week. I highly doubt she'll still be around by the time school starts again in January. That's when the play debuts.

Edit: Well, she could. We never know. Also, I know that here, we would get two weeks off for the holidays: one at the end of December, and the next at the start of January. Also, school plays sometimes happen during these holidays (more like the last day, right before school starts again; it makes sense.)

Actually, I could see Mike telling Sandy about his part in the play. After all, he is interested in that, even if he's not great at acting. Heck, I could see Mike giving Sandy a private rehearsal in his room. I just don't see Sandy staying in Roseville long enough to watch the debut of the play. She does have to attend school back in Rickter.
