I just didn't have a problem with it, I was de-sensitized to it by the time that happened. It was as if it was normal.

But back on topic:
The people at your school may have been ok with the word "fag", but in most places it is still being used as a hate word. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but in many ways it is similar to "nigger" when used as an insult.
And even though the community is probably not actively hating on gays I certainly haven't ever heard "furfag" used as a compliment... so what can it be besides an insult?

Nigger is a bit different. Unlike the masses, it was never "our" word so to take it back doesn't actually mean anything.
Actually recently there was recently something in my town called a "Slut Walk" where women walked down the street dressed like skanks wanted to bring to the attention how slut was a bad word and they wanted to "take it back" there's nothing to take back and it's a bad word for a reason. Yeah, but the point of the thread if you don't have anything to say is to just not participate. Like for example I don't really have any issues AT ALL with Marshmallow, so I'm not really gonna post unless there's something genuine to say or if there's an earlier post that can be added to without the need to have to say something about the poster above. I don't see what's so challenging about avoiding commenting on topics if a good enough answer isn't there.

Oh, thanks Taeshi. You made me remember the one thing that bugs me about Purin. Passive-aggressiveness. It's the most annoying form of aggression.

Lets not waste another page on off-topic arguments, shall we?
@Kaxbe, the thread may be about confronting people but I don't think we should feel compelled to cite examples for every criticism we give. That would change this atmosphere of good-natured teasing sprinkled with refreshing honesty into one of grudge-holding.
(Plus its not like Purin asked for evidence when you accused him/her of being wishy-washy in the first place...)
