I love how the last one kind of looks like an illustration in a science textbook of some sort. It makes it seem so much more real. Do you use textures, or just the paint tools in Corell Painter?

Also, seeing as I reinvigorated my love of pencils, I have decided to open up for some traditional sketch requests if anyone's interested. I've got some free time and I'm not as busy and it would be nice to draw some different sort of things.

think you can make a blood serpent god? =)

the idea is to use this body http://www.wow-pr.eu.../big/hakkar.gif , add giant claws instead of hooks for hands and instead of current head add 2 long snake heads

oh and make the "opened heart" more detailed =P

I have the sketches started, so never fear. c:

I'm not too sure how Yosuke and Jaraiya interact so I'm having a little trouble with those two. Part of the reason I'm not keen on characters I've never heard of is because I never really what sort of pose to put them in. But it's all good. A nice challenge. c:

Most recent concept piece for Drake: Corbrulo, Hellion of the Deep. Oh boy oh boy I'm really looking forward to painting this one. :D

It's kind of funny that you would request Metroid art, considering I've been working on and off on a few Metroid paintings for a contest over on dA. Namely, Phantoon, Serris, and B.O.X., though I'm not too sure about the last one. Here's a preview of the Phantoon painting if you're interested. Still unrefined but I like the direction it's taken.

Also for the record, I'm a huge Metroid fan. :D

Hmm, I was wondering if I could make a sketch request...? Now, I normally request Omorashi from people (it is my thing), but some how I don't think that would work out here.

However, there is something else I would love to see (for a change)! Would you be willing to draw a picture of Quorthon of Bathory, but make him (extra) bad ass and mechanical?

As for the sketch requests I have yet to do, just to recap: Samus fighting a metroid for Mr. Hurricane, Giygas for Jack, and Quorthon of Bathory only extra badass and mechanical for Meowth? Sorry if I'm missing anything, I have the worst memory, I swear...

Goddamn I do love my Starfish Aliens. This one reminds me of the mutant spawn of a spider crab and a mermaid, with tentacles thrown in for shits and giggles. As always, fantastic work.

Yes, the Other M Phantoon battle is awesome. I love love LOVE how Phantoon was redesigned for the game, with that one super glowing Sauron eye. ALL MY LOVE TO METROID.

I think the problem is that he's quite shy and hesitant to talk to people sometimes. He's gotten far better at it over the years, but sometimes he's just... Hesitant. That's it.

Just letting y'all know that I'm putting sketch requests on hold for more important stuff. You can still request, and I'll add them to my list, but there's more important things at stake right now. Gotta get a model done by sunday, a concept piece for the Metroid Database drafted up, and there's a contest and a collab floating around in there somewhere too. And I complain about there being nothing to do. Oi...

So here's a redesign of a Metroid enemy to make everything better.
