So I'll be hopefully putting some art up here, if I ever get round to it. I have a bad habit of saying I'll do things and not when it comes to my art. Or at least not finishing them. I suck like that. Anything I upload will probably be on my deviantArt account too, at venitum.deviantart.com

First thing to put up. I had a little practice at drawing Michael using the frames when he realizes everyone knows he said 'no' to Lucy.

XD Were you one of the ones on IRC when I came on and complained that sad Michael just looked like Lucy when I drew him.

I'm very tempted to remove the scarf, add a bow, and reupload XD

Okay. I most probably will. But first, I asked people what character I should draw on the IRC, and they all said Amaya. So have an Amaya.

I figured I'd do more detail on the tabby markings, since I don't have to worry about drawing her a bazillion times for a comic XD. It will probably seem a bit obvious that I struggled a little more. I don't know Amaya very well, so I didn't have such a clear image about how she should look. I'll try to clear up the smudging and reupload it.

Also, I will at some point be doing more than just a bust... Maybe. I'm comfortable with busts

Also, it's just the second one that kinda looks like Lucy.

Okay, so I have a few things to post today. First off, I edited my weird looking Mike to be Lucy instead, for luls.

Edit: Okay, edited a bit after Hero's comment, and cleaned up a little.

lol, now your Lucy looks more like Mike now that it's in a bow. Maybe you just successfully morphed them into one?

Also, nice Paulo, but I think his mouth should be a little lower.

Nice facial expressions, I would love to see your interpretation of an angry Abbey, not sure if you are taking request though. Either way, nice work!

Who is this character in your latest picture? Is this someone completely new which you just happened to create on the spot? It looks like Augustus' sister if he had one.

Hmm then, if Lucy gets Mike and back, make first the head and then ask people what have you done today :smirk: then add a bow/scarf and color :D

After a long disappearance, I thought I'd come here to let everyone know I am planning to do some more drawing, and some more BCB art, I hope. Read that as it's in the ancient dusty tome I call my to-do list, and might just be remembered at some point.

Why thank you. I must say, practice makes perfect for this. And if you saw me doing it, it wouldn't look so easy XD I tend to sit there with an eraser cursing every 30 seconds and redrawing it a dozen times.

Really, well that sucks. Normally I can see a lot of smudges and things on the paper around it (some of which could have been erased before scanning, but there you go.) So I tend to put them in photoshop and adjust the lighting a little and clean up. Although now I have a nice new scanner, which I fully intend to use for more art soon ^^.

Next up is a very young Abbey. It wasn't going to be him, but then I started drawing the hair, and it couldn't really have been anything else from that point... Despite the fact I then erased the hair and drew it again to look more Abbey-ish :D

So I decided to do a little experiment with the colours of that picture of Lucy. It's possibly a little too subtle, but I want to see what people think of it. On a side note, if anyone wants to try adding colour to any of these, let me know. I could even try to

I guess you really mean subtle. At first it was difficult to notice the pink in the ribbon, but after tilting my screen I was able to see it. Still great drawings here, your certainly on the road to finding your own style.

I didn't think the coloring was that subtle. Maybe it is a difference in monitors. Regardless, I like it.

To be honest, using the method I was using, it was kind of difficult to make it visible without it being garish and horrible. Sorry if it doesn't really notice XD;

Not sure quite what you mean by a great sense of space in these, unless you mean the positioning of the different elements is good, but thanks anyway.
