Susan - A little known fact you need to know For my own sake

Yeah, to be blunt I should start off by saying I am transgender.

If you don't know what that means then it means I am biologically male but mentally female. I'd prefer if you referred to me as female and stick with my adopted name as I plan on getting surgery and all that jazz later on to take care of this issue I've been left with.

So, uh, yeah. I'd appreciate it if you'd not really judge me for this or, uh, alienate me because I'm still the same person you all know. I figured I may as well make this publicly known (Taeshi, Suitcase, and Spacemouse knew) because of the new vent server/BCBcon. I'd hate to be excluded because of my disposition.

Anyway yeah. There you have it.

I'm saddened that you felt so worried about an issue like this. Terrible that our society would judge people openly. Opinions or otherwise, it is what it is, and who are we to judge.

Your the same person to me, regardless of the inner or outer stuff.

This is unnecessary. Quite frankly, anyone that judges another person based on any little fact about them shouldn't. I don't care if the person is a criminal or if the person is from another planet, for all you know they could be the nicest person you ever meet (obviously that doesn't mean every criminal is nice or anything, please don't interpret it that way). Not saying anyone here would judge you.

It's nice to know this though, because it's the little things that make us unique. This is just one of those things that makes you your own person.

On the few instances we've interacted, you've been nothing but swell, and you're a wonderful author; that means a hell of a lot more than anything about gender, and from the rest of the reponces here I'm positive without a doubt that it's the majority opinion. The honesty is well appreciated, though.

I haven't interacted with you in any way except when I "edited" that silly comic, doesn't matter if you're male or female, as I said in my about me, I hope we can be friends :) so if you want me to refer to you as a female, so be it.
So as a (I hope be) friend, all I can say about this is I hope you're happy, and shouldn't worry about this sort of stuff.

Its understandable to think that opinions might change, even though they obviously won't. Hell, I'm completely straight and yet I don't fit in at all with my own gender(which is extremely awkward since most are dead set convinced I'm a liar). Its happening more and more these days resulting in more and more approval(cause its not like haters can wave a wand and make their problems go away can they? So they need to STFU about their reasons for hating).
Plus to be honest, I kind of assumed this actually, even though I haven't been here long. Namely from the speaking patterns in your posts, little details, etc. Wow, that doesn't sound creepy at all or anything lol sarcasm.

No, though I can say I'm damn close. Very damn close. I even had a freaking crazy dream last night where I was opposite gender.
This is why I typically(even my friends have a joke about it)prefer known with no gender, since I fit so well with both categories.

I don't think of myself as one to go around in prejudice against others, but I struggle a little with the concept of dating a transgender.
But I acknowledge that as a flaw, so I guess I'm ok since I try to change my own flaws.
