There you go. But--how many rapes went unreported? Do a google search. You'll find the number is estimated to be 10 times the number of those reported. This is an important thing to consider, even with reliable statistics.

Oh, I see. So the person having the baby is more important then the baby itself. The little tiny baby should die instead of your sister. Nice outlook.
Dude, the baby can't even survive until it's 7 months old. Then, the baby still won't have a good outlook. Until around 8 months old, the chances are no where near 50%.
So yes, in that situation the "little tiny baby" should die instead of my sister. Why? If my sister, assuming I had one, died from complications of labor,
so would the baby. Then, when the baby is technically old enough to survive outside the womb, until its body is sufficiently developed its risk of dying is still much higher than its risk of living.
But yes, let's force people who may or may not have medical complications to carry to term. Let's tell them that either both them and the child they are bearing should die, or both should live. You know what? If they can't afford the proper nutrition they need while pregnant, let's lock them up to ensure the baby is born healthy, because that baby is so much more important than the parent. And yes, let's force every parent whose boyfriend's condom failed or whose pill didn't work to endure the 9 months of agony and the unpredictable and sometimes very long intense pain of the actual process, because you, the person whose life is not even affected by this, think its wrong.
Again, my central point isn't that it's evil or that it's right, it's that you, as a man, cannot possible make an informed decision on the matter.
