Bittersweet Candy Bowl Forums

The title says it all, I did not see another topic with my intentions so I decided to create it

Basically give off a list of some of the games you play the most, what system you use to play these games, and if you feel so inclined as to give a username so that others may enjoy games with you as well.

It is only appropriate that I start this off

I play a lot of games right now, can't do a whole lot else while searching for a job and waiting for next semester to start

Pokemon Pearl, Platinum, and Gold - Pokemon is awesome, I still have my Red, Blue, and Yellow versions and I used to have two DS so that I could trade with myself. Yea, I used to be that guy.

League of Legends - Should be obvious for anyone who plays considering my current avatar choice. I rock, I'm level 30, I have about 20 more wins then losses (I don't rock, its a lie).

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2 - Awesome take on RTS games, it was done well and I enjoy it a lot. Warhammer 40K is just bad ass on its own though.

L4D and L4D2 - Got both of them the day they released for the 360 and then my 360 died so I bought them again for the PC, awesome games.

Audiosurf - An incredible music based game, its only $10 on Steam and most definitely worth it. Load up a song and surf on it in a spaceship, there are objectives. My favorite thing to do is to load up the fastest songs I have and go crazy.

Command & Conquer - I am constantly switching back and forth between Red Alert 2, Tiberium Sun, Generals, and Renegade.

For now that is all I shall be sharing about the games I choose to roll with.

I only play PC games, because it's the /cool/ thing to do.

Let's see... L4D(2), TF2, Ghostbusters, Poker Night, the Half-Life series, as well as revisiting the little shitty ones I make on occasion.

Metroid - Prime 1/2/3, Fusion, Zero mission, super, best games ever.

L4d 1 and 2 - so awesome.

Tf2 - best class sniper.

Half life 1/2 episode 1/2 - awesome games.

I am mostly a console gamer but can't say no to the better PC games like the ones made by Valve and Bethesda.
My favourite game series are Phoenix Wright and Harvest Moon. I also like Fire Emblem.

Pokemon blue-soulsilver, pokemon mystery dungeon, Fallout series (especially Fallout 3, I don't have New Vegas yet), Metal Gear Solid series, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted, Civilization 3, Final Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts series, Halo Reach.

TF2 - medic mostly, BONESAW !

LFD1 and 2 - Grabbin peels

World of warcraft - hunter

Fallout 3 and New vegas - Dont nuke me bro.

And Final fantasy Tactics(original ps1 version)... ah nostalgia.

The last games I played were

Sonic Unleashed, Ressonance of Fate, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

And now I'm playing Sonic Colours. Yes, European version.
But, seeing what I listed here, I figured I might tell you guys that I am quite old school, and have played "all" classics.

Pokémon. Apart from those, there are almost no video games that I play. ^_^

Sonic Colors...I've heard it's actually good...It's been too long since the words 'Sonic' and 'good' were used together.

I play video games on my PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

I have a DSi, but it can't seem to really hold my attention for very long even though the games I have for it are pretty good.

For my console gaming, I'm quite partial to shooters like Killzone 2, MAG, Call of Duty titles, Gears of War and Halo titles, but for multiplatform shooters I'm more likely to pick it up for my 360 (mostly because I play with more people on LIVE than the PSN). I also enjoy the occasional RPG like Dragon Age or Fallout 3.

For my PC, I love to play RTS games like Dawn of War 2, Starcraft 2 and Total War titles. It's a pretty new custom build, so I also have a couple shooters for it (Gears of War, Metro 2033, Dead Space, etc) to see how far I can push the video card.

That's my gaming in a nutshell.

Garen is way worse then Shen. LAWL SPIN LAWL. I hate him so much.

Way less WoW players then I thought there would be. That makes me rather happy, some friends of mine are currently trying to get me back into it.

I haven't played a Sonic game since Sonic Adventure Battle 2 on the Gamecube, played that game for such a very long time, spent most of my time goofing off with the chao, had all kinds.

When I finally get my new desktop I'll be looking into playing Supreme Commander 2, Sins of a Solar Empire, might grab an emulator for Everquest, and a copy of Halo 2 for the PC, Ascension for life.

Also waiting for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, probably gonna check out the new Donkey Kong and Sonic game when I get a chance I'll probably finally beat Bioshock 2, first one was incredible but the second one is so damn boring.

and i'm only 17! Just wait until I'm, say, 25!

The people who did the art for Dawn of War II are working on Diablo 3. That's just sexy.

Just beat Deus Ex. The endings aren't as strong as I'd like them to be, but it was still a fairly strong end to a great game.

I play more vido games than most of you, too many to put a list, so my list at the start is my top games.

I'm currently playing Fallout 3, and while it may be annoying at times, there is nothing more hilarious than stealing all of a guy's worldly possessions right in front of him, selling them to his neighbor, then smugly walking away and getting murdered by a random Deathclaw. I COULD put a list up, but that'd take multiple pages I kid you not(gamer since a kid, and gamer forever I have played just about everything out there on any system of the past, haven't done as much this generation though I've still played a lot.)
So instead I'll put up what I'm playing right now...

Wii - Super Mario Galaxy 2. I got this when it was released and played it a lot, but I figured, waiting on the holidays and people need SOME sort of gift idea that doesn't require a trip to Japan so I'm playing this until the holidays come, then I'll be digging into all the November titles.

PS3 - Final Fantasy XIII Should've listed this first. I got this a few weeks back and its actually quite good, though it certainly is something for the hardcore RPG goer considering the only new things it tries, aren't the best of things(namely a linear experience that only gets good and wide again toward the end of the game.) I'm a big RPG Player so I'm leveling up, grinding, doing the side missions, and trying to 100% the game(probably the only genre I will 100% a game. I'll come close with others but never quite get past say 95 or 97%.)

PS2 - Marvel VS Capcom 2 HELL YES. I'm getting massively prepped for the third and I'm going to be all set when it comes out. >

DS - Chrono Trigger. Always and forever, I've said it time and time again everywhere I go, this is more than jut a game to me but a way of life. If I don't get a fix of Chrono in the day, I'm going to freak out. Some call it obsession I call it an overreacting love.

PSP - Dissidia Final Fantasy. Honestly, I find the PSP good, but lacking in games with this being one of the only good ones for it(that isn't a remake.) And with Dissidia 012 Duodecim coming out, I'm maxing out all my characters here as well for transfer over to the other game.

Well there you have it, the games I'm mostly playing at the moment.

DICE, give me a remake of BF2142 in the frostbite engine. That would be so awesome.

I have played so many games but the best gamer series ever is the jak and daxter series.

Really surprised to not see Borderlands yet, at least I don't think I have yet. I've been playing it for about two months, awesome game and it is a lot of fun.

Also been playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4, would be playing 1 and 2 if I could find a copy any where. And I bought Twisted Metal Black (the best one) and I've completely forgot how much of a pain in the ass that game is. Far easier then Small Brawl but both are fun.

I do but I'm not on all that often because my Internet at home sucks and I have to go to my friend's to play. But I'm there quite often on weekends.

I played Borderlands, didn't have much fun. Shooters only seem to know "shoot people", that's it. Not much else to actually do with shooters which I find kinda dull considering there isn't multiple strategies you can even take to shooting people. I'm not an FPS person. or a 3PS person, although honestly I don't see the difference since they're so similar(specially with controls and concept). Maybe if a shooter could do more of a 1Player experience as well as 2Player and not rely on its online and multi player so much then I'd be more interested. But as it stands, shooters are an online genre with 1player being nothing more than a tutorial on how to play thus, I lose interest.

Try half life 2 for a good FPS with physics puzzels as well.
