Yeah, it's older. From 2004. The full version didn't come out until 2007 though. But it's still older either way.

I have, at this point, literally played every game Valve has ever made except Team Fortress Classic, Counter Strike, and the extra Half-Life games between 1 and 2. oh, and not HL2E2, but I do own it.
Valve makes great games. Even if Gaben is involved, he's still responsible for the massive amounts of good.

I liked Borderlands, but my issue with it is that I don't have any friends like a single player game a little better, and that game was very difficult to solo effectively. I'm still trying to beat it.
Ninja Gaiden II is not really smart hard, like Demon's Souls, so much as technically hard. Oh! One hit kills and a lot of enemies! It kind of makes it hard without having a way for someone to learn how to beat it; it's just kind of randomly difficult, if you can follow my poorly worded logic.
Cage the Elephant has a nice range of music. Kind of beside the point, but, eh.

Just finished little big planet 2. It was good, but it was too easy and it felt like a tutorial the entire game.

I rented inFamous today. It's neat so far, except that dying bringing me back to the same building every time is pretty annoying, seeing how there's so many Reapers between the house and the first regular mission.
Of course, I'm biased. After the Sly Cooper series I can never hate anything Sucker Punch makes.

This wins because it is the truth. I hope I have enough cash when Assault Horizons comes out because even if I am almost broke I MUST HAVE IT. Ace Combat has never failed to please me. Although Fires of Liberation wasn't that great.
Also I only just got past the part on chapter 7 of Dead Space 2 where you have to fight off the necromorphs as you wait for Ellie to open the CEC factory doors. I died so many times before I finally just turned down the difficulty just so I could get past that part and then put it back up once the doors opened.

^I started playing in Survivalist and died a few times there. Where I really had trouble was in somewhere in chapter 13, I think. You had to go through 3 levels, 2 of which were filled with enemies. And I mean filled. Exploders, Black Pukers, Black Slashers and Spitters galore. When I did that in Zealot, I got infuriated. Good thing there's a save point right before it though. Makes it much easier to tolerate when I try for Hardcore mode.

Killzone 3 hasn't come out yet, I thought.
I can not recommend the entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series enough. It is so wonderful getting into a life or death firefight with a single enemy that is as tense as any Halo run on Legendary, and more.

I have that. Was nice, because I'd lost my original copy of the first one, which when I did have it I had no chance of beating it. I actually beat the games in reverse order
The collection had a trailer for an eventual Sly 4. When I heard about I think I actually fangirl squealed. And I'm not a girl.

Oh, man, Sly Cooper 4. It shouldn't be made, in my opinion. I'm pretty happy with how the series finished up. If you've finished the third game, you'll know what I mean. Carmelita Fox gets everything she wants, heheh.

Yes, the third was the first one I'd beaten.
There was speculation that this one follows a descendant of Sly, ala Golden Sun: Dark Dawn or Final Fantasy IV: The After Years style. Or it could be Sly again.
It's speculated Arpeggio will return in this one. Which is awesome because he didn't get enough screentime before he was supposedly murdered in cold blood by Neyla.

Mmm, that might be a good way to do it...but they'll need to think very carefully on how to pull it off. If they ruin such a good ending for a pancake game, then I probably will just watch it be played and not pick it up myself.

Perhaps. It's possible Arpeggio didn't actually die. All we saw was his monocle rolling away. He could have survived the stomp thanks to the protection of his birdcage-mobile.
Doing it Dark Dawn/After Years style would be neat. Nothing would be more amusing than them having a child and Sly secretly teaching him the Cooper family thieving business without Carmelita finding out
