Red vs Blue

There has been much talk about Red vs Blue (Rooster Teeth) in the BCB page comments, and I thought it would be appropriate to take it to the forums. It started with Charmdra saying:

Also, is "Media" the right icon? RvB is media, in a way.

It's been a while since I last saw RvB; like what? 3 years ago? I hear they completely switched to pre-rendered CG animation as opposed to machinima scenes. I wonder which program did they use.
