Usually someone new from another forum (or just new to forums in general) will necro most of the time. Most forums have a "do not repost threads that already exist" rule and generally encourage thread necros. The problem, although, is that after 50-100 responses, the topic is beaten to death and no new information will be posted; just shit opinions that have already been stated.
