I don't think I've ever seen this style before.
It looks pretty good, especially the fur.
Though the anatomy around the face seems a bit off due to the lack of shading in some places, but that's only a very minor flaw.

Huh, never thought of that. Wonder if Daisy really would show up at the fashion show to confront Sandy? But no, I'm thinking she would still be in the car with Abbey and Janet driving back from seeing Charlotte's grave.

Uhh. Urban Dictionary didn't help much. ;-; Welp, anyways, I'm posting this on my thread before uploading to Candybooru. I now know it sucks so I'm going to just work on the background and logic a bit more.
I should also mention I did this in a two month period, spending 40+ hours. This is actually my most insane undertaking thus far.

I'm not entirely sure, but i don't think there are "standards" to meet to achieve the excellence tag. That is meant to mark those rare works that stand out by various means in Tae and Suit's judgement, but not something you can plan for in advance. I think a picture has to have "that little something" and you won't know until it's done. Moreover, if it does not, it is unlikely that polishing it more can do the trick.
My guess is that if you are happy with the outcome you should just post it and cross your fingers

I wonder why Tess should look nearly as despondent as Lucy. I also wonder why Abbey and Daisy are looking in opposite directions, it almost seems like a flashback to the awkward early stages of their relationship.
The characters' legs seem somewhat reminiscent of this image.
Paulo should be a bit taller. He's one of the taller characters, and yet he almost looks shorter than Daisy.
I like the colouring and shading, they definitely show effort.

I like the style you used, and the color pallet wow~ The dress is nicely done as well, those patterns, very cute. Also those haaandss, they are adorable and perfect c:
The face is a little sharp and has darker lining than everything else (which maybe you meant to do, but it makes it stand out a little too much, perhaps just a tad lighter), the mouth could be softened a bit and the eyes are reallyreally solid, dark blue compared to everything else. But I love it, goodness, like I said, cutiebabe 2012. Did you make the background?
