RC's Art(Requesting Feedback!)

Chalk pastels, but it didn't scan well.

Mm, chalk pastels are a fun medium to use. They can create such vibrant, beautiful colours and such smooth gradients. Keep at them. Easy to start with but hard to master.

I think I like your stuff because it's so simple. It has a sort of story book quality to it. It makes me think of brightly drawn children's books and careless splashes of playful colour.

Aww, thanks!~ I've always been crazy jealous of more complex styles(like yours) that make people go, "Wow, now there's an artist." But my style seems to insist on simplicity, so I'm not fighting it as much anymore. I may never awe anyone but if I can make them smile, then I guess that's enough for me.

Anyways, I'd love to illustrate children's books. I might do it as a side job until I can get a name for myself. For now thouygh, gotta work on getting good grades and stuff. Unfortunately that means less time for art, but s'all right.

Yay, I got my Tumblr up and running now! I intend to upload at least once a week. Simple journal comics, most with Nate.

I have to say I'm getting a very Hunchback of Notre Dame feeling from that drawing. There's probably some connections to be made from that to being trans.
