You’re a cat and one day your just getting a flavored beverage and then some bunny chick drops her carrot juice and stairs at you. The people near you instantly jump to conclusions and you run but she is quicker and harder headed than you. You find out that she likes the same drink as you and suddenly one normal thing is enough for you so that when she invites you to her birthday, you show up with a cake. On the way some guys decided to get their dicks in a knot and attack you. The cake is damaged but no one cares, however, you get kicked out of a cafe or where ever you are and suddenly you and her are the center of a huge intolerance vs. tolerance debate. She decided to bring S&M equipment to the first date and also picks up five strays but you go on a second one anyway. The community around you gets really involved in your relationship and it eventually leads to the bunny in the hospital. You break up with the bunny because you don't want to see her hurt and some dude beats the crap out of you. While you and him are in jail the bunny decides to get on a plane to "paradise" wherever that is. She is leaving on the day you get out. The same guy who beat you up gives you a ticket but you decide to rip it apart rather than just taking the plane as well and then break around a dozen laws speeding to the air port and give a word less (because you don’t talk) confession right in front of the people who feel strongest about your relationship. You then go back and clean the graffiti but don’t really solve the initial problem.

Now, for my perhaps favourite piece of music from the classical period; the third movement and finale from Joseph Haydn's trumpet concerto:
I chose this version mainly because there are so many hugs and smiles within the first minute.

REM is from Athens, GA and, it just so happens so is Neutral Milk Hotel, a band that is heavily influenced by REM. Athens is a pretty awesome city.

When I was learning how to prove kepler's 3rd law of planetary motion in my 2nd year, I started with a set of mappings from cartesian to polar co-ordinates, and Newton's second law. 3 pages later I sat looking at a differential equation, and the most beautiful thing I have ever seen happened - conservation of angular momentum caused it to assume a linear and separable form.
I could just read off the solution... and it gave me the elliptical form for the orbits of planets around stars.
