What can be said that hasn't been said before? The only thing I can think of is take this current chapter, and run a hiatus. Take two weeks off and just replace 'em with Guest comics. What doesn't make it in those six days, place 'em in the gallery! As far as I know, I don't think I've seen a Guest Week here.

Another guest comic period does sound like a great idea but we might need a bit of time to draw these. Nonetheless, hopefully the amount of comics drawn in pure adoration of the comic, plus our desires to have Taeshi rest and recover, might just mean something, if not nothing.
Taeshi, you have not only created a highly successful comic loved by many (look at how many comments are on each update!) but have united a large group of people, helped us all meet one another and make friends. Would many of us even know one another if not for the forums? Not at all. You have created both a story that touches the heart strings and a community of adoring fans who care not only of your cast of characters but yourself as well. I speak for most all of us when I say we love you and to hear and see of you in such emotional stress is incredibly hard to hear. This all is something not to be taken lightly, and I strongly feel a much deserved break is in order so that you can remember good things and focus on your life with Souppy outside the comic. Breathe, honey, let yourself breathe. Eventually everything will be okay and your fan base wants to see you get there

I'm trying to round artists to create a fanart collage in attempt to raise Taeshi's spirits! Here is the info! Please spread the word!~

Quite a lot has been said already, so I'll just add a few things-- ignore the complainers and the naysayers and the people demanding updates. Don't feel afraid to take a break if you want to. If you are low on fanart to post, I'm sure a few of us forumites can knock something together for you.

She's not gonna be better all of a sudden. If anything, you're making her feel guilty for not being better.
But yeah, I guess I get what you're trying to say. I guess Taeshi knows her fans support her and care a lot already, so there's no real need to keep bumping this thread.

Taeshi, life is tough...and sometimes I feel like it's really tough when you have so many feelings to deal with that you just don't know how to control sometimes. This comic is great and it's a great outlet I'm sure. Be proud of this...it is part of who you are and not everyone can just bust out art like this. Your not alone .

Taeshi. You are, as said by the many people here, an amazing and creative person yet is determined enough to actually continue this pressuring task of updating your well-known comic. Like many artists, You deserve some rest. Now who would want to work on a large comic while experiencing a large amount of stress? I know this is short compared to the others who have posted (Who I also give high props to for giving such effort!) But please take this into consideration before starting a new chapter after the current one. Best of luck!

Hello Taeshi I'm a recent reader of your comics and diary. I just want to say to you that you're not FAT nor UGLY.
Let me tell you my story (I know I'm a nobody but I hope that this will help you somehow): when I was 15 I also thought that I was fat and ugly and that my friends only liked me because I helped them with their school work. So reaching the summer I started cutting myself and stoped eating. Three months later I looked like shit
so I had to go to the hospital because my family realised what was happening to me. By the time I measured 1.66 m and weighted 50 kg (and I'm a boy ok not a girl). I had to go to therapy because mentally I was horrible and my friends (some of them started to get away from me 
).
What I'm trying to say is that no one loves you more than yourself and of course your husband and friends. You must get out of that vicious cycle of depression. Please seek help don't let it happen to you what happend to me. Strength girl and PLEASE do continue with your awesome comic book
I really love it.
(Sorry if I was boring to all you guys by sharing my story keep on posting
