I would recommend you look on the previous page for a discussion of why one should not bump a thread for a creative work when there have been no recent updates (with the possible exception of if you have a well-thought-out and original criticism of the work). Or look two pages ago, it's come up repeatedly. The summary is, though, that you are promising everybody an update that you have neither the intention nor the ability to deliver, and this is rude.
