Google translate is screwed up. It can get you through simple high school french, but you will not understand anything. So let's expose the madness. Take a quote from somewhere (anywhere) and translate only three times: From English to Language A, From Language A to Language B, the back to English again. See what you can get. Also, post the languages and order that you translated in.

Bad Translator

A hell of a lot harder to get a funny translation with just two languages, and it requires you to know a little about the languages themselves if you want to make the translation you want.

Original text:

Translating only between Germanic languages (this including English) is boring. You need languages with widely different roots to get an effective chaos.

Try, for instance, English through French and Dutch but coming into Japanese, touching on Finnish before reaching Swahili, incorporating Latin and making a quick venture into Malaysian, hopping from there to Russian and finally coming to Portuguese, German, and then at last English again.

Then again, 'Tzadik' may just be a different word for it. I have yet to hear it, though, but they do appear similar. Considering how the same transliteration is properly a term for 'the righteous one', though, I sort of doubt it.

Tzadik is indeed translation for the word for "righteous one", however it's also the Sephardic name for the letter. Most Jews these days use the Sephardic pronounciations.

צ is pronounced "Tzadik" as I learned it.

Found a website with quotes of the day and ran them through bad translator set to 35 languages.
