Well as you can see, this is yet another animation proyect.(Oh Lord Why dont people just give up)Oh well.
Fist. Im not planing on interfeering with BCBaudiocomic or this more of a help( wiseass) to work for the rise of an unkown animation group that can and will animate BCB into a full color animated.

Second. Even though no one besides the server that recognizes my IPadress knows me, I'm fully aware of all the atempts from Aken to Darkspeeds to Ltamazil to Grass to LTamzil(wich was better than first one).

Edit: no offence to those I mentioned and the others i didn't.

Those attemps arent that bad, but they were as myself, trying almost the imposible, doing it alone (heres another solidarity speech SOMEONE PRESS ALT F4)

Well also it was the way they worked too, also the deadlines were to blame, but the idea was good.

Which work, you say?
Three most important tasks
*Redrawing the characrtes and each and every one of their facial expresions (this is the easiest task and longest task of all why because they already exist in the whole comic and thats because the program posses a onion paper option beneath the frame indicator)


*Draw the backgrounds (WHAT?!?!)its the hardest and most demanding task, since you require another program and like paint and a good browser, you have to since the angle cannot be the same as in the comic or youll get the background from pics in the internet andand redrawing them into BCB style (anime-cartoon fusion)through the onion papertrick do it bad you get a get a darkspeed(no offense and if you work it good it could beat a pro on it.

*Storyboarding the most imortant task. Its a must, because you need this to do the timing and to do the voicig editig of scenes.(this its the reason so many failed, no storyboard, they just copied Tae-chan's work ( Im mostly bitchin) since not all of the scenes can be done in the same perspective and to decide the diferrent transition of each scene, also there will be a poll for this one since for a storybord you either need to be Tae-chan or have her writing sense (enough to come up with a plausible alternate ending to BCB, yeah, that much)


There are other tasks, but those are mostly the Sound group, incharged of timing the music, sounds and voicing which i'm not very good at, so for that, there needs to be a hole other group.
Overall there are 2 groups Video and Audio group
Video must have least 8 animators and Audio 2 + all the voicers needed
Anyone iterested (this is when you close you're browser and turn off your computer and go to play PS2-3 Xbox Nintendo or Whatever you have )

ooh tools! *steal* well sir, i will say to you what i've said to others. i pray that you succeed in this project. if you have seen what has happened to the others, then you will know that this project you are about to accept will be time consuming, it will be tedious, and you had better be persistent if you hope to complete this. i won't discourage you, but i won't help you either (i'm already participating in 2 other freelance voice acting groups, and they're both at a halt) this forum is filled with critics as you've seen, and they will help you in their own way. do not be disuaded or discouraged no matter what. but should you ever feel like it fails, and everyone is agreeing. then back out. remember: you should like it. you must like it, you must want it. because if YOU don't. Then who will?

I can provide a voice if you need it, and I might, MIGHT, be able to do some barebones editing with the characters. Don't expect me to though.
Here's hoping we once and for all get a decent radio play thingy.

Yeah,while I was "trying" to do it alone, I noticed the job would take a while(like half a year or so for the first chapter),and the criticism, I would actually apreciate it, that way I could fix the errors, I will, be making along the way, the only promblem is going to be, the inconsistent art style so I dicided to take pics from, the last monocrome chapter to "Carry me" to avoid confusions for exception of Simple plesures because that will be the basis of the first season(wow a whole season) since they all look well younger, the animations will be full color, well, I don't know about the lineart.

If so, I'll record some ´´auditions`` tomorrow. Again, if I end up editing anything at all, I'll be barebones at best. I suck at stuff like that, I just know how to do some of the most simple stuff.

I would recommend tackling a small project that you can manage yourself (i.e. a single sequence/gag/comic page) and post it to drum up support. I imagine it will be difficult to get people to commit their time without seeing some sampling of your work.

I think I misunderstood what you meant by storyboarder ealier. Do you need it in novel form, or as an actual manga storyboard. I can attempt to write something if you need me to. Do you want everything completely rewritten or what?
EDIT: And I'm afraid I'll have to cancel my voiceacting, I sound absolutelutely horrible when recording my vocie only.
(For some reason I sound better when I record something else as well, such as when using Fraps.)
Besides, my voice wasn't suitable for any of the characters anyway, at least not from what I can tell. I have a youtube account, so you can check for yourself if you want to. Just search for ´´NintendoCentralFan12`` and I bloody hate that name.

4,5,6....till you finish scripting the chapters, depending in the amount of minutes, chapters will either be 24 minutes or 10 all of them consistency in anmation is important, but it depends(man everything depends) on how many any animators we'll have by the time of the cut (I give it 2 weeks and I'll close doors till the second chapter) and a poll to decide, that poll will be made once weve got everything.Anywhoo, I need this because, that way we can organize the chapters in scenes, this lightens the load, helps animators to help finish faster and more eficciently.

So, if you want, could either or both of you send or post here by a spoiler(how do i do that) a storyboard like this one it can be done on paint don't bother your selfs.

Hey, long time I didnt visit the forums

Nice to see a new project. I can't give you voices (my spanish accent is a problem, really) and I can't barelly draw. But if you need help with sound editing I can provide you a hand.

Also, maybe you will like to use a song we made for Lucy. Lyrics by Lt_Amazil, music by BeberOne (he isnt in the forums) helped by me, and sang by Shada.

OK, since most people has lost all interest, I only will ask for those who are still interested, support at the least, with opinions, ideas, because, it can't be that no one those who posted on the topic, are the only ones wanting to see a Bittersweet Candy Bowl animated in a good Quality.(nag nag nag nag)

How do I know only some are interested? Because a fifth of the views are me.

So now with that cleared then, I'll explain what I'll do:(again with the freaken I's)

I'm gonna redraw the characters starting with the main ones, moving on to background ones and depending on what Taeshi thinks, Ill either have the fan-characters deleted or kept(except getting fucked in the ass, sorry)anyway, the first character to redraw will be Lucy not only for being the lead on the story, but also the characters that changes the most in appearance (no, you pervs I don't mean her boobs nor ass)but her factions since the characters go from middle school to high school they don't stay the same, aside from abbey, since he appeared after wards also I'll have to draw the characters as kids for the flashbacks.

But, at difference from the comic series, the art wont evolve that much, since I am running low budget(none) there so little I can do without an animation group(gee, thanks guys) but, Ill leave the other treats of the comic, such as, the textured paper color on walls, floors and other object which the character isn't holding or the camera isn't focused on, to keep the essence of the comic

I'll be adding treats that could only be enjoyed on video such as: I haven't decided yet but, I'll even try and have the new line-art added from the first chapter but the problem will be the tones, they could come out too plastic so to avoid a plastic-yashy effect, I'll only use a maximum of 3 different tones on the same color for each character and comic sense non-gray scale shading and no shine on anything aside from the eyes and reflecting objects, this also reduces the work in 20 or so% and last i would like to play the BCB theme that I found in this thread when I was looking for the favorite song thread on certain scenes or at the least in the credits or intro but with a guitar and with lyrics.
Which I now know KekkonShiyou is still working on.
In a week or so, I'll post the rough redrawn flash versions of Lucy and the others, so you can see more or less what I'm getting at

is it wrong that i read "living in bittersweet world" in the tune for "Material Girl"?

I think that starting drawing now the expression and such of high school Lucy is.... well, you can do it later. I would just focus on the youger Lucy, as you are going to start by the 1st chapter (aren't you?).

I tried to learn a little of flash, but seeing that Ican't barely draw.... not east :S

Uh... the song, I found it browsing through the lilling comics and it was a good way to tease people, and the that was what im mainly trying to get at, volgrand but, i can do the redrawing since it takes me a to two or three hours to redraw a characters, so i leave the job of slightly editing the pictures for the movement sequences to reduce the work for the team or the few left (gee, thanks again guys) anyway if you want to instead of drawing you could do that it doesnty require any drawing abilities or refine the drawings, these two only require patience.

Note: I'm on the mobile version so I can't actually check ortography patience please.

I can make story boards. and i have some experience with Macromedia Flash, I prefer Pencil though. as for reliability I will do my best to help you as much as i can. I can devote my self an hour a day since i have school every day. and you seem like you know what your doing. I would recommend using a low frame rate my self speaking from experience. what frame rate do you plan on using for the animation?

Finally! someone new, I thought no one else was interested.
Look, I was trying to see how hard it was with 30, since that's the amount used on on cartoons but, they have the advantage of an animation studio and I'm on this only with this community and i got no picture editing neither i know how to use them so I was planning either 15-20, for details such as movement on tails, blinking, etc.



For those who don't know the frame rate is the the amount of frames, slides, pictures or thumbnails that are equal to a second
there is #frames per second for each different types of animation which means that if in a movie the usual frame rate is 45 frames per second they draw 45 frames to make a second worthy of high quality
animation
The chart goes like this:
Movies and OVA's 45-60frames(speaking of ovas I'm planing on doing a bcb one like Digi Charat's having them all human)
Cartoons and generic anime 26-30
shorts and other animation 15 -20
low qualities go all the way to 5-12 low qualities since there are only some so far that come out perfectly fine with this amount like VGcats, to bad bcb isn't one of those, that would of made the animation easy.

But I'll have you in stand by except for one thing, this i a must take a picture from the first chapter where David appears and use the onion paper option and try redrawing his head and export the image and post it here just to see how good you can draw on flash, unless you already posted one on the booru.

Why would movies do 45 frames per second? Properly done you cannot literally see the difference after 24 frames per second. Although, at 60fps, you'd obviously get a frame in every time the screen updates for a 60Hz monitor or TV or projector, which is probably nice.

Still, I find it doubtful that anyone would go over 30 frames per second, really.

I dont really know, but thats the standard for movies like Balto or any Disney animated movies, but thanks to the tecnology they don't actully draw all those frames, only a few, the most diffcult ones and the rest are done by computer so they work as if they were doing 30 or even 20 frames but, i dont have that tecnology so its like im doing.... the whole thing(YAY Alooot of woooorK!)

okay I guess 15 fps won't kill me. I was hoping 10 but then again I was intending to do it all by my self. will we be making 5 minute episodes? thats seems fairly manageable, at least it was when it was just me doing ten frames per second over the time span of half a year.

I'll be familiarizing myself with macromedia flash.

Thats good flash is gonna be your main tool and you cant be working with it not knowing its most important features, But Wait! look Im still planning so, I need to take in account what you could do, in the end you could be doing somthing like, lip sync, adding, special effects, drawing bacgrounds or story boarding so, don't go thinking that Im gonna have you do all the work so answer:
1 can you draw?
2 in a scale of one to ten ,1 being inpatient and 10 being retardly patient where would you be?

I can draw. but if i reveal my art I will be kicked from the forums. I'm still studying People and perspective. Perspective is my weakness. but i have a good grasp on exactly what a person should look like, and the basic views. I cannot do a birds or a ant's view. doing other poses is risky but i could pull off most of them.

for patience i am a 7. I've had focus issues occasionally, but I usually listen to music If I'm doing a repetitive task like laying down digital line work on a sketch, and coloring. as for animating, I've done lip syncing, and I've made a fan rotate. I've even made a movie segment for the beginning of BCB, but it was rejected. It was because i combined a jpeg image with a smoother lined characters, and they didn't like yashi's voice. I did get props for the sound effects. they liked that much.

-Lt Amazil did some horrible songs about the comic.
- I listened to them, and I laughted.
- Someone said "Nice lyrics"
- I asked for the lyrics
- I took one and I presented it to my friend BeberOne.
- He made a song. I helped him with the last details.
- I tried to sing it. I suck at singing. Horrible result.
- I asked shada to sing it .

Taeshi: if you're casually browsing here please give me you're opinion on this. You're the autor and I think,as a writer, that something as important as an animation is something you can be picky on, even though it goes againts you're nature or better said... conscience.

The part where she started cursig was out off... In rythm mean if the the words were arranged in different order the song could even sound better, otherwise I liked it. But I didnt want want to say this since it may hurt your feellings or not...

Edit 2: Im having problems picturing lucy getting up from bed like in the first chapter so any ideas?

Easy way, she's sleeping until Yashy decides to jump down the bed. 1st scene: She shows her head looking to yashy. 2nd: Yashy jumps. 3rd Lucy is out the bed yelling "Yashy!"

as for the animation of lucy getting up, You can do pretty much what you want because taeshi doesn't really care.

now i had the idea of panning from the fan to lucy, and yashi would climb up over lucy,(because if you look closely there is dark mass behind sleeping lucy.) he would say "Sounds like it's time to clear the runway chirps" then he would say "ready!", the camera would switch to lucy and she would then wake up a slowly at first and then Yashi would jump from the bed, realize he isn't flying crash and then the camera would switch to lucy and she would be getting up quickly scolding yashi. I never got that far but thats what I was planning.

edit: sorry, i realized i didn't answer your question. I decided i would imagine my self as lucy and i was going to get out of bed, well first i would pull off the covers with my right arm, then my left leg would drop down and as my left leg drops down my torso would straighten up, and then my right leg would come down and i would be sitting and i would get up. if i was doing it casually.

- I'm writting 2 novels (well, that takes less time from me, as i don't have deadline).

As for the Audiocomic, well latelly I received almost all the auditions Voices for chapter 2, so I can start working. I hope to have something for this weekend.

Personally I think the expressions are ok. But ate those all the expressions in chapter 1? I lean, it only covers the 1st 2 or 3 pages.

No I mean the style since its not the same as in chapter I'm worried it wouldn't look like bcb also, these are as I said before only three and only in chapter one there are 30 that ill have to draw. Good thing there's the onion paper option.

okay in the first view lucy's jaw seems a little bit square. i think it should be more rounded.

finished the background. i just need to put it into flash now. heres what it may look like. i used the silhouettes of the characters to help me place the scenery correctly.

front view she has a square jaw, and you could at least show the insides of her ear. on every single view you could show the inside of her ears but i don't know if that would detract from the style. I really can't see anything wrong wit the other 2 views other than the insides of the ears and they look a little blank. 3/4 view lucy you could show the inside of her right ear, side veiw lucy you could add a mouth, nose, and show the insides of her ears as well. you should really know how the ears are oriented. taeshi thinks were going to fail. you don't really have her support on this, so if you want more criticism, i suggest you make a sample video or show progress. how far are you anyway with animating or are we just assembling sets and characters we need in order to make the animation easier? i'm not sure exactly what you are doing.

About Taeshi, I can't say I wasnt expecting that, after all those attempts, so, for in encouragemeant, I'll have the Pilot done in in a month to prove my resolution on this(wait that was darkspeeds error he was too impatient) if I'm delayed I'll inform ya'll. Though I hope that after that you wont have any doubts on me.
Infact I have someting i was working on but, I suspended that one to do the real animation, I'll edit it a bit and show you that one aswell.
