I do not use the internet at all for social purposes with other people who I know in person. I do enjoy few things such as RT, ZP, SlowMo Guys and the like, however, apart from that I do not really do much on the internet. It's good for those in-between homework times during the early morning hours when you can't really meet up with friends to relax, so you make do with what you have. Admittedly, BCB is the first forum and form of social networking that I have ever used (No FB, Twitter, or bullshit like that). I really enjoy the community, and appreciate the fun discussion that come from it. So, to finally answer the question; someone from this forum, because the definition of 'friend' is subjective, and anyone here would be closest to whichever definition.

I guess that's what I get for typing so much. Calvin and Hobbes.

I'd have to say it was a Sega Genesis. We rented a system and Sonic the Hedgehog. We enjoyed it so much we ended up getting one and keeping it at our grandma's house.

Soccer, and that was when I was really young, so I'm not sure if that counts. Basketball was next, then I stuck to swimming at the age of 9.

Back around May of last year. It was a year end club event with an open bar. They weren't carding and I was bored out of my mind since the person I was going with got sick so, I decided to experiment. Six (quite strong) drinks later and I was making up real life ships and ship names for my group of friends...

The first one I remember was fucking horrible. I was 4 and the dentist was, quite unproffesional looking back at it.

She cursed a lot, and stabbed me in one of the gum (Is that the word). I don't remember much else, but I remember that my teeth hurt for a long time after that. That and a weird blue liquid.

Kyle... great guy, great musician, a little too old for me. Very tall, heavier, red hair, kindest heart out of many I know. Funny, sweet, a bit cocky and a bit of a liar. But just a great guy and I wish we had more than just a summer, and now I wish we have more than a few memories of a small town outside the Valley.

It was actually a bit sad, I had this Uber crush on a girl in my class, and when I told her she really shut me down hard. she was polite about it but she had this look on her face of "oh god, no!" plus after that she avoided me like the plauge. I was probably thirteen, so I felt pretty shitty. I just kinda wen't home and stole a few of my dad's beers.

Last year over spring break, I and some friends took a trip to the Oregon coast. we spent four days just sorta touring the area, and we slept in cabins off the coast, unfortunately it rained most of the trip, but there was one day it was clear sky and sunny. me and one of my best friends, whom I had a crush on were walking the beach and just sort of relaxing, and we found a nice sandy beach. (the Oregon coast is known for being generally rocky, so a sandy beach is hard to find.) so we sat down in the sand and watched the sunset over the water. we chatted while we watched, and we had a great time. I remember while we watched I put my arm around her and she put her head on my shoulder. we kinda just sat like that for an hour or so, then headed back to camp. that was probably the best hour of my life. unfortunately, it didn't work out. we are sill really good friends though. still, best moment ever.

Oh, oh, oh, this one is nice. I've even told it before on these forums.

About... I think 'twas two years ago, I got a crush on this girl one year younger than me who I thought had a really nice voice and was cute in a strange way - not particularly pretty but she had some sort of a style that made her interesting, I suppose. She was somewhat similar to me in a few ways - liked some of the music artists I did and was interested in drawing and painting (although unlike me, she did actually draw and paint). She's the reason I went to my first anime convention (hahaha) since she asked me go there with her and it was pretty nice.

Ended with her telling me she didn't have anything special for me or want any sort of a relationship really, and that she didn't think she'd want one in the future either.

Now she's engaged. And she can't be seventeen yet. There's something thoroughly ironic here.
