Amnesia: The Dark Descent--Your Tales of Survival

So, has anyone played Amnesia? Holy crap, ssssscaaaary. Lol. So intense. I think I gained a lot of courage by watching the video above, hahaha. I was like "Okay, I'm not the only one scared shitless by this game."

So, what are you stories? I'd like to know...

And for the record, I'm not so afraid of the water part. I kind of imagined the invisible monsters as giant crocodiles xP So it wasn't too bad. Everything else, yeah, scared me. Badly. ._.

I've played it. Horribly not scarey game in my personal opinion. It's fun to play, but not scary in the least. Also, the water monster is literally just a circle. You can rip the files and find it. I think my favorite part of the game is when Daniel freaks out because it's dark. He's terrified of the dark. Oh Daniel, you're such a bloody pansy and you can't do anything.

Well, I never finished it 'cause of the puzzles, (I hate puzzles) but the prison part was really freaky to me.
I don't know exactly which ´´Grunt`` or ´´Brute`` scared me the most, but I'd say the prison part was the worst.

(Fun hint, when you enter the guest room, you can barricade the opening where the Grunt appears, and watch him walk in place. Just look it up on YouTube, it's hilarious.)

The first hour or so of amnesia is amazing, immersive, omnious and al that good stuff.

After that it gets predictable. With some jump scares here and there.

I would not have survived the campaign if I hadn't learned that even placing a small object between you and a monster so it obscured your view would keep the monster non-hostile.

LOL

Well, this looks like it could make a fun stream. Anyone willing to stream Amnesia? (even if I had the game, I wouldn't know how to stream) I've never played it, but it looks like the right thing to play once you and a few friends make it to your house drunk but alive and the question of "What now?" comes up. XD

Ahhh I'd have to buy it on Steam to stream it and I'm waiting for it to go on sale during the Summer Sale. :x Otherwise I would.

I'm going to be making my own video of my personal reactions this Friday =P I can post it if you'd like, haha.

The first time I ended up in the cell [A little before the head thing] I couldn't get out, after 3 tries of being an idiot and then getting caught by the shadow without escaping I gave up and searched the internet to figure out how to get out of the cell.

Are you going to be streaming or just posting a YouTube video of your reactions? Live streaming would be better, cause the YouTube reaction thing is really overplayed and kinda boring. If it was a live stream, we'd know the reactions were genuine or horribly forced or not.

I've considered streaming it myself too, but when I tried as a test I couldn't figure out how to adjust game/voice volume, so the game was all you could hear.

I don't know how to stream things... so yeah, it has to be a youtube vid. But trust me, it is genuine. That game scares me bad ._.

If you have a good enough computer, streaming is simple enough.

if you want to see amnesia reactions then watch PewDiePies videos, he is AWESOME!
he does a couple of other horror games too, but its mainly amnesia custom stories.

If you want to learn how to stream, go to Procaster. It literally gives you step by step instructions on how to do so.
