Webcomic Party

So Taeshi recently posted an art thing where she drew 100+ webcomic characters (full size link, 1800×1996 pixels, 1.8 MB). Basically, that was the reason why she was so late with Monday's strip.

I actually can't identify most of the characters, since I read a limited number of webcomics, but these are the ones I was able to pick out:

  • Gabe from Penny Arcade
  • Joyce from It's Walky!
  • Anders and Maria from Anders Loves Maria
  • Stick figure guy from xkcd
  • Annie from Gunnerkrigg Court
  • Choo-Choo Bear from Something Positive
  • Lucy from Bittersweet Candy Bowl
  • Pintsize from Questionable Content [?]
  • Skull from PvP
  • Zii from Ménage à 3 [?]
  • Biff from Biff
  • Clango from Diesel Sweeties
  • Boo from Megatokyo [?]
  • Philippe from Achewood
  • Gastro from GastroPhobia
  • Rodney from Raven's Dojo
  • Dromiceiomimus from Dinosaur Comics
  • Slick from Sinfest [?]

There's a couple other characters which seem familiar but I can't place, and a couple others whose identities I have thoughts on but can't be certain of.

So, why not make your own guesses here? I might learn a few things, maybe even add a new webcomic or two to read. :D

Flora from Twokinds and Snowy from Slightly Damned are there as well.
I'd highly recommend both of them.

I think it's indeed pintsize on top of the books.

Ariel Vanderson from Aikonia is near the top left.

I think it's Kat too [?] from Gunnerkrigg Court below and to the left of Annie. Probably not though.

Edit: The raccoon is maybe from Sandra and Woo?

And then there's that raccoon I've seen somewhere.

There's also that person from Hyperbole and a Half even though that isn't strictly speaking a webcomic. It's a blog and the character is the avatar she uses in her drawings.

I cba to see if I recognize more.

But seriously why is Sonichu in there that's just 8-D

Oh, and there's Sweden from Scandinavia and the World above the XKCD stickman

Just above and to the left of that character is a girl who reminds me of Grace from El Goonish Shive.

Kill Sonichu he is not original some Sonic Fan-Characthers are original Sonichu is the sexmixture of Pikachu and Sonic the hedgehog that doesn't actually qualifies something that is worth even posting. I don't hate on people who spread out webcomics but I do rain on people's parade who ever has a shitty characther. Sonichu is a good plot but as you know the person who made it is messed up in the head as you can see exhibit A:

I see the girl from hyperbole and a half, the guy from dueling analogs, adolf hipster (can't remember where he's from), peaches from peaches and cream, Mora from Las Lindas, Lucy (whom noone has mentioned yet), one of the stick figure thingies from Cyanide and Happiness, Zeppelin from Lighter than Heir (obscure but good), Dromiceiomimus from Dinosuar Comics, and some character whom I vaguely remember is from Houspets. Those (and the ones already mentioned) are all that I recognize.

Towards the middle, the girl with the dog is Eve from Octopus Pie, the furry girl below her is fromSabrina, the girl next to Eve on the left with the cats and the crown is Yuko from Johnny Wander, the nun holding cats above her is Sister Claire. Down towards the bottom left (on the psychologist couch) are Summer and Hatsuki from "Moon Over June." (I will not provide the URL since it's NSFW). Behind Hatsuki is Anais from "Curvy" (also NSFW). Slightly above them is a little cumsprite from "Oglaf" (also NSFW.) Below them and slightly to the right is Frog Raccoon Strawberry. To the left of her (in the lower left corner) is beartato. To the right of her is a horse from "Hark a Vagrant" ( I think) and holding him is Gastro from Gastrophobia. A little above Gastro, the robot drinking tea in a chair is Chester 5000 XYV from the comic with the same name. Slightly higher, the smiley face rainbow cloud is from Kawaii Not! The UFO is from the webcomic, UFO. Last one I know, the girl behind Dr. McNinja is from Girl Genius.

There are more I recognize, but can't remember the names. :x

Dr. Tinycat is chilling in the balaclava guy's arms. Hipster Hitler is in the top right corner, and the thing on the middle right behind the bear looks a lot like the Alot from Hyperbole and a Half. Just above Lucy is Li from Extra-Ordinary. Something that looks like one of the weird incest twins from Ordinary Days is peeking out from behind the rainbow. That's all I can get.

I think the girl cringing next to Hipster Hitler is Lilah from Ctrl+Alt+Del.

I'm curious about the bear with the bowtie in the lower left corner. He seems familiar somehow. He sort of reminds me of Rasbutain from Run Lil Jared, even though he's completely not.
