BCB is serious buisness
I find it kind of odd how much you poor children obsess over this comic. I kind of doubt you're opinions and arguments will have any actual influence it what happens within the comic (or does it)?

Tobi, You have formed a question based off of a simple question. "Why are we whom we are, Why are we Human, What makes us Human?"
I will guess that we all see some trait that we attract to like we do in real life, so by seeing the two we like most we, as normal people, like to put two of our greatest likes into one thing to created one big mass of our own joy. This being said the whole (X) and (Y) People are just trying to say that they may see more of them or people they know in those two people and or they just like the idea of that charter and their commons sense of people they know tells them that those two would get along quite well.

As for penis size, there is no argument. Taeshi has specified it exactly.

That doesn't say much. What is large? Girth, length, both? Does Paulo have a short fatty? Do Mike an Abbey have Long thinnys? Or is it the other way around? David's black, so no questions there.

Maybe it is just my choice in forums, but I'd have to throw in there that all forums are like that. We talk about the most random useless shit and make a big deal out of stuff no one outside of the forum would give a flying fuck about.
And I like it.
I'd also have to say that I can't really talk for the part of our community that you are addressing, as I'm more into the debates and community then BCB itself.

Also, a good, well written story should be able to stimulate debates. The fact that this comic is able to do so just reinforces the fact that it's compelling and well written. Do you not have any sort of hobbies or interests you can discuss with people? That would be a sad life indeed and I would say I feel more sorry for you than the people on this forum. Sure, some are a little obsessed, but most of them are generally good people who just like to discuss and share their opinions with people of like mind.

Perhaps I misspoke. I don't think Taeshi wants to get that specific.
As for David being black, Taeshi has answered multiple questions about that (in order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). At this point, the David being black thing is pretty much just a long-running joke, and you can imagine David however you want.

Think about the entire set of soap operas and their masive number of fans.
Now imagine that someone created a soap opera where all the over the top deaths and returns, rapid falling in love, rampant lies, and every other thing that has turned soap operas into cartoons where replaced with believable, relatable, and interesting events instead. Now imagine that said soap opera managed to entirely escape the cartoonish stigma and desensitization of their genera by replacing the cast with cats and forcing their viewers to view their works with no expectations.
And that is the deal with bcb

Of course it's worth discussing, but I don't think he's so much asking "Why do you guys talk about it?" as he is "why does it warrant enough concern to give some people wrinkles?"

And the sentence is self referential!
Now let’s talk about how talking about sentences referring to themselves when they talk about how sentences that talk about sentences that talk about talking about the comic is idiotic is idiotic.

We can get the answer to that with a simple re-formulation of the question, turning it into

Way to sound arrogant by implying we're all children and excluding yourself from the rest of us because you're apparently better.
Why does anyone argue about anything? Why do religious people petition gay marriage when, logically, they should have the same rights as everyone else? Why do debate teams exist? Because it's interesting to hear other people's opinions (no matter how retarded) and have a discussion about it.

There's also quite a few people here, myself included, that just like to talk a LOT, and will write volumes on whether or not we'll ever see Mike without his phone, holding it to his chest like a little worry stone.

... I really do like it that you are quoting Tolkien's Universe. Thumbs up man.
And you can find any topic on the internet that will be argued to death no matter how menial. It just so happens that this comic is quite good so deserves even more heated discussion then something small.
