I have obviously too analytical a mindset for this. I thought in my head, "animal... The Kea... Avian, Alpine, Endagered". Does that make me a furry that likes birds?
here were my others:
Colour: Yellow: bright, easy-to-see (i count that as just one word), vibrant.
Water: The seashore: Wavy, blue, salty
White room: (if there are no lights, how do you know it's white?) Dark, ample, lacking of corners
ooh, i love me some SALTY sex!

By what you're saying, maybe the Kea to you represents, "avian," capable of flying (metaphorically), aka talented, "alpine," can live in conditions most others can't, aka adaptable, and "endangered," one in a million, aka unique.
But maybe I'm being too analytical as well...
Wait... you feel "lacking of corners" about being locked in a white room with no corners? What happened to your elbows?
