I heard about this from my English AP teacher at school. Now that he has heard about it, he is honestly spending more time having us look things up for it and planning to do the event on April 20th then he is actually teaching the curriculum.

I find that a good portion of the internet disaproves of kony on the basis that it only sparks "facebook activisim" and facebook activisim doesn't take down warlords but I think that's wrong.
Facebook activisim takes far less work per person then youtube activisim and, really, I heard about how annoyed people were about people posting statuses about "kony" long before I heard about the video.

In any case, public awarness is a good thing as long as people go look up actual facts.
