Double Stuffed Oreos.
who else does that
i remember when i was younger i avoided oreos strictly because I hated the concept of peeling the oreo apart, eating the nice creamy center, and then begrudgingly consuming the wafers. I just hate those chocolate bits, they're so bitter to me. I guess they wouldn't be as bitter if I ate the oreo as a whole, BUT I JUST DON'T DO THAT.
Similarly to how I begrudgingly slide my teeth against the skin of an apple to eat that first, and then finally happily eat the inside bit. I am not a fan of the skin, but I do it anyway and I guess I feel I should because it's healthier?
Anyway these double stuffed oreos are crazy and I am wondering if there's other people who are similar regarding their oreo consumption rituals and if there's other food you are nostalgic about/into/only eat the steroids version of it (like BAG OF CHIPS WITH EXTRA SWIRL)

I like to think it's just double stuff because of the sheer weight of the cream, I mean they don't change the cookie size, it was designed to hold half the weight Double Stuffs put on them, it only makes sense that they should crack under the pressure easier.

I will eat one the standard, sandwhich cookie way. The next, I will break part, eat the cream, swallow, and then eat both wafers at the same time. But I will chew the wafers a little longer than normal. It makes them less dry and gives them a far better, chocolaty flavor.
It is truly an art.
Sadly, I rarely eat Oreos and have to spring for the abominable generic version of sandwhich cookies. Oreos are just too pricey.
As for apples, I don't have a particular method. I do have a weird habit of sucking the apple each time I take a bite to get up the juice, though.

Food I'm nostalgic about? Shit... BBQ Frito Lay chips. Man, I loved those! They were so fucking delicious oh my God I could never get enough. But then stores seemed to just stop selling them! Like, they have flaming hot Fritos and the Twist! shit but... I miss my BBQ Fritos. And Ring-Pops. Shit was cash when I was a kid. Man I love the cherry ones... I MISS ALL THIS FOOD
I don't know much about STEROIDS VERSIONS of food but I guess that when it comes to flaming hot Fritos I only eat the EXTRA flaming hot ones. They're the kind where you can only eat like three at a time before you want to drown your mouth in a swimming pool of milk or something.

Toasty: I used to meticulously lick the white bits that remained on the wafers until the wafers were squeaky clean of the cream and then consume them :-[
HAD TO HAVE FOOD PORTIONS ONE BY ONE.
Like eating the chips before the chicken nuggets.

I have a tendency to try to peel the inner layer off, so that someone else can eat them.
Or I just eat the whole thing like a normal person eats a normal cookie.
BUT there are those Chocolate-filled chocolate wafer ones....MMMMMMMMMM

Oreos are an issue: I prefer to just split them in half, dunk the absorbent bit in the middle into whatever drink I have on me, and then eat it. However, the cream is often too hard to resist. I prefer original Oreos: you rich folk can keep your double-stuffed nonsense.

Applesauce was my solution.

Furthermore, I peel every apple I am going to eat. Peel the skin and cut the fruit into little chunks, then eat them before they dry out. I can't STAND the skin, because like Toasty said it makes my gums bleed.

Also I heard the skin is meant to be the healthiest part so that's why I don't peel it off. I eat terribly already, might as well tolerate 10% of an apple!!!!

This is mainly due to because I love the taste of chocolate on it's own and don't want it to be marred by the cream.
But hey, that's just me.

I don't buy Oreos. I don't care for the cream, and I'd much rather just buy straight-up chocolate wafers than buy Oreos and scrape the cream off.
Also, never liked things in milk (cookies, cereal...). Too soggy. Eugh.

The crazy thing is, the Family Dollar Store near my house carries single servings of Oreo Blast ice cream, which I'm somehow able to handle just fine.

We have Ringos, which are similar things i think. the only difference is that the biscuits are one vanilla flavoured and the other was chocolate flavoured. I always ended up opening it and eat or throw away or trade the chocolate one hoping that the cream will remain on the vanilla one, then get another vanilla one and eat it.
And of course it's needless to say the cream always tend to stuck on the chocolate side.

I eat the top layer, then the peanut butter spread, then the next layer, then the peanut butter spread, repeat until consumed.

I usually get the ones that are more like uncoated wafers, that go wafer-filling-wafer-filling-wafer. Then I remove the top and bottom, eat those, and then eat the middle which is now filling-wafer-filling.
MMM

I do that whenever i can. It's a good thing that I live right next to a grocery store.
On an amusing note, Basketcase is pissed about this topic. I have no opinion about her opinion.

Ryuk: it's funny you say that since I had a habit of taking all the white cream and squishing them onto a bunch of other Oreo creams to create a ball of cream. Then I would just lick it till it disappeared. Never got sick of it.
Klaus: oh man those wafers, I used to squeeze them until they seeped out the cream from the middle and lick around it. Then eat. Such dumb habits.
Anyone know Amor cookies? Those are the bombbbbb

Zombieland disapproves of your hatred for Twinkies.
I have to agree with you about the Reese's. It's the same thing that they did with the Hershey bar by making those shitty M&M knockoffs. Though that was shit from the start.
