I can't stand this song...but the last page of "back and forth" Paulo and Jasmine reminded me of it.

This song reminds me of maybe how Mike felt and possibly still feels about Lucy.

For Mike and Sandy, based off their relationship in general.

For Paulo and Lucy, based on the "Another Path" arc. (somebody else originally thought of this one)

This song also reminded me of the Another Path arc, because I felt like Lucy was struggling to say she loves Paulo back, but all Paulo really wanted was for her to show her love, not say it. Talk is cheap, in other words.

McCain is somewhat opposed to this song, but I imagine him singing it, with tears in his eyes, when nobody is around. Also, imagine him playing that saxophone solo. :love:

"Candy Says", by the Velvet Underground. Mike could sing this for Sandy:

"She's Lost Control", by Joy Division. Reminds me of when Lucy lost her mind in Acapulco (and Ch.30 Troubled Waters when they recall the time both her and Mike were drowning):

"Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division. Pretty much sums up every couple in BCB, but it especially makes me think of PauloxTess and MikexDaisy in Ch. 40 Love My Way:

"1989 Blues" by Daniel Johnston. If David was ever depressed over the Flower Girl, or just depressed in general, I could see him singing this. The guitar work mostly includes just strumming the guitar too, so it wouldn't require much effort on David's part.

"The Eternal" by Joy Division. Reminds me of Augustus and how crappy his life is when compared to a normal household with a normal, loving family. It would also remind me of Paulo if Paulo ever thought about his mother.

Hey. I considered this song for an Augustus relationship... probably AugustusxDaisy. (I considered using it in place of Hellfire, but it doesn't really give off that "stick with me or you'll be brutally murdered" vibe. Pretty sweet as a mindscrew, though.)

Man, I'm actually really excited that this topic exists. I could list off a dozen songs, and why they remind me of BCB. However, I'm a little busy right now (AP European History homework, if you must know) so I shall just name a few:
Beast of Burden by Rolling Stones-reminds me of Mike and Lucy
