Hey, i want to show you the new BcB spanish project, we´ve started it in february , but we don't wanna make it public until we reach up the old spanish translation , we're updating about two chapters per week.The project is been carried on between mi pal larrythecat and me, we're looking forward for you to like it and any suggestion will be well received.

Sólo dime por favor que no traduciréis los nombres. En la antigua versión me rechinaban los dientes cada vez que Daisy decía "Miguelito", y cada vez que llamaban a Lucy "Lucía".

Como consejo, yo habría traducido "Girl-kitty" como "chica-gatita". Suena más a Chirpy.

Además en algunos puntos la traducción es demasiado literal. Capítulo 1 página 1:

"No, she broke something else" ---> "No, ella rompió otra cosa."


Ese "ella" realmente está de más y hace la frase muy redundante. Más que traducir directamente pensad en cómo habláis de forma habitual, o cómo diríais la frase vosotros normalmente. Yo normalmente diría: "No, ha roto otra cosa."

Otro ejemplo:

"No es mi culpa que sigas olvidándote de esta oreja sorda"

Normalmente -y discúlpame si en tu país habláis de otra forma - diría "No es culpa mía".

Aparte he visto un par de fallos ortográficos, como "protejer" (va con G). Pero nada grave. Debo decir que me gusta mucho más vuestra traducción que la anterior. Con todos mis respetos a los creadores de la anterior edición que.... euhh.... olvidé sus nombres... cachis.

Ahora estoy ocupado pero si necesitáis una mano no dudéis en pedírmela.

Otra cosa a anotar: Creo que traducir la letra de las canciones en el capítulo -Fantasías Nada Animadas- es un error. Si un caso podéis poner la traducción abajo en los comentarios. Además en la de aerosmith habéis cometido un par de errores. La letra original dice:

I could stay away just to hear you breathing.
Watch you smile when you are sleeping
while you're far away and dreaming
I could spend my life in this sweet surrender


Podría permanecer despierto sólo para escucharte respirar/ando (según gustos)
Mirarte/observarte sonreír mientras duermes/cuando estás durmiendo
mientras estás lejos y soñando.
Podría pasar mi vida en este/a dulce rendición/abandono

Actually I've noted a few minor grammatical errors in the first few pages. For example, there should always be a space following punctuation (commas in particular), and the next word following a comma shouldn't have a capital letter unless it's a proper noun. But I have no doubt that Itu will reiterate all that in his list of corrections.

Yeah,we have some grammar errors Volgrand, but i´ll correct them ,Itu send us already some of them ,and yes i hated to call "Miguelito" instead of "Mike".....it`s horrible!!! we hope you like the translation =D

These are independent projects.

So parallel projects working at the same thing should get individual threads? It's fine by me if that's what you want. I was on the fence about it.
