Anyways, any funny, embarrasing or just really anykind of story to tell meeeee?
I know this comment comes as unsolicited, but relax (I'm talking of your experiences with your "friends," here). Just learn not to care what people like that do. If they act like that towards you, they're not worth your time, patience, or however much kindness you may or may not possess.
Anyway, middle school was a funny time for me. I mean, I'd been sheltered in an elementary school up until I was twelve. When I say sheltered, I mean that the school was a private one, composed of 200 students, spread out between infancy and grade 6. When I was a 6th grader, there were only four people in my grade, including myself. But once that grade ended, I went to middle school.
I was up for a kind of rude awakening. My attitude was very facetious and nonchalant (although I was still prone to introspection in a limited way), and I was weird. In a way people liked, at least in my old school, and with my other three friends--everyone at my elementary school liked us. But I only knew two people when I went into my middle school. And being weird wasn't really welcomed. I had to learn how to grow up, and even then, silly rumors about me circulated: people thought I was gay (because up until 7 1/2 grade I'd never liked a girl), people were dramatic and relationships weren't relationships per se, and we were all attempting to be mature when we, well, weren't.
Middle school was a bridge. A bridge to high school. I learned how to be truly social in my own way there (I was still shy), and it taught me what I needed to know.
But I'm going to go ahead and say high school years are more worthwhile (coming from a junior (almost senior) perspective) in terms of learning material and learning about yourself. Of course, I'm probably not all that mature, so I'm not going to say so. Because there's always more growing up to do. But it's enjoyable to deal with people who are a tad more mature (generally!) than how they were like say... three years ago.
I could talk about my high school years, but, that's another topic.
