And yeah if you look at it that way it looks a little more platypus like, but that's not the official artwork of Psyduck. I dunno. It could go either way I guess.

Yeah the game wasn't bad, I just think the game itself and it's Pokemon looked ugly. That being said, I found a suitable in game team that was visually pleasing for me. It could definitely spawn better games in the future. Didn't bother with the only bits and as for story, from what I remember it was fine, but who the hell plays Pokemon for the story? I play for the cute little animals I can force to fight for me.
But common Bourbon wtf at the Water Starter. It's final form was weird as hell.

And Samurott has epic beard.

But no the game wasn't terrible, just on par with Ruby/Sapphire for me, which I also didn't like. To be honest, I think I liked Platinum a lot more than any of them. Well if you don't count HeartGold and SoulSilverohgodiamsuchanerd

What designs don't you like, specifically? There were a lot I thought were stupid but now I really like.

I think my favorites are Lilligant, Zebstrika (Electric Rapidash!) Chandelure, Dwebble (Crustle looked retarded as hell. Way to drop the ball man.) Whimsicott, Krokorok (Evolved form wasn't as funny.) Excadrill, The Monkey Trio (I love the idea behind them. See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil.) and the Ghost Jellyfish because it is so pompous and ridiculous.

Also, the reason Samurott is a bit weird is because Oshawott is and otter, Dewott is an otter, but Samurott is a sea lion.
Also also, Samurott has fucking swords in his armor!

Whimsicott is indeed soooooo cute. It's a sheep/ram/ball of cotton and it's just so huggable looking.

Personally, the alt forms are the most uninspired things I've seen from Gamefreak since Reshiram and Zekrom themselves and the two new games thing seems like a total cash grab but, my inner twelve year-old is positively pumped.
What say you?

As awesome as it is, it would be redundant and unnecessary at least until a Pokemon game is made that uses the 3DS exclusively.

What is weird is that it is Black and White 2. Most special edition pokemon games have minor changes here and there, but the 2 implies a full sequel, at least story-wise, which I think Nintendo doesn't do too often.
Also, the name of the formes are "Black Kyurem" and "White Kyurem" -__-"

Or ever, really. Least, not with Pokémon. I'm really /really/ hoping that's what this is because, while it wasn't the most amazing plot in a video game, I really dug it and it helped me stay interested enough to finish it. Also, there were enough (probably intentionally) unresolved plot strings such as the identity of the Shadow Triad (who I'd bet [minor spoiler?] are the first three gym leaders), the whereabouts of Ghetsis and, most importantly I think, the whereabouts of N which, according to Looker, is in a "faraway land" that is implied to be Hoenn. All that being said, it's important to note that both game logos for Black and White 2 have a color (blue and red respectively) which could imply that traveling to Hoenn or even the game taking place in Hoenn is entirely a possibility! All that being said, I really hope the game is in fact a full-fledged direct sequel and, as a result, we'll be getting two new protagonists because trying to carry over the party data and shit would be pretty fucking boring for those that got their dream party to level on hundred...
I'm sorry, was this too much, this may have been too much...

Someone email Nintendo because that is fucking brilliant. Now I'm sad that it'll probably never happen.

Alternatively, present this idea to a rom-hacking forum board seeing as everyone and their mother does pokemon rom hacks these days...

And I don't see why breeding couldn't be introduced. Since Bill's PC wouldn't be around for obvious reasons, I thought a revamping of the storage system was in order-You could carry more Pokemon with you on your journey in your bag, up to maybe 25 or something (though you're still limited to six to a party). You can empty your bag in any Traveler's Inn, which would be used to rest and would eventually become Pokecenters. Pokemon you deposit there could be transferred back and forth via carrier-pidgeot. It'd also be interesting to have either farms or fields you could leave two Pokemon in and have them breed that way, maybe even make breeding and discovering eggs part of the story.
Man, wouldn't it be cool if part of the plot was finding eggs that hatch into the legendary birds?
True, this game would be vastly different from the originals, but I think Pokemon is starting to take big steps. Maybe someday they'd start a radical project like this. If not, I still have a shit ton of Fakemon I could turn into sprites for a fun pet project...

Not sure how I'd feel about carrying 25 with you although, I get how it could replace the box thing. But, the carrier pigeon/pidgey thing sounds pretty cool! Also, while I don't think Gamefreak is taking GIANT steps, they certainly have taken two big steps with the addition of a true plot and now (what we can only assume are) direct sequels to said plot.

I was actualy going to try and make that rom hack but I was inturupted by the fact that I am a lazy good for nothing who never gets 5% of the way into anything.
