So This is a real thing. It's taken them 35 years; they've finally done it. They made a lightsaber. Even though it's simply a 1W laser with a casing attached to the hilt, it's still a fairly impressive technological advancement. With this kind of technology a vast amount of good can be accomplished, but also evil.

So this leaves only one question that is on all of our minds, is the Sith and Jedi war soon to come?

What it's really saying: "Do not actually show this to anyone without sunglasses. Do not play with this, these faggots we call stuntmen are just swinging digitally enhanced dildos at each other. This is not a toy even though it is totally a toy. Do not try to hit anyone with this even though it's the only possible way you could have fun with it."

y'know, on one hand I'm appauled that they'd try to sell this on us...but on the other hand, an actual lightsaber's logic would mean it'd be able to cut through most solid objects like butter, and do we REALLY want that in the hands of nerds who have shit in their lives?

While cool and all. For fun I'd rather have an Ultrasaber. That way I could actually mess around with it without blinding everyone around me. lol

Er, I'm sorry to burst your bubble Boton, but these are neither new nor lightsabers.

It isn't a lightsaber. Its just a laser in a plastic tube. We've had these for literally decades.

Moreover, the commercial is, I'm afraid, pure bullshit. What's the most powerful laser you can own? Answer: you can own any power of laser legally! There are no legal restrictions on lasers (well, not special ones anyway). You could theoretically build a laser strong enough to write your name on the moon and not have any legal problems.

Yes TD, I am aware of this. I know it isn't a lightsaber, I am just more interested in the laser itself. I'd love to get my hands on a high powered laser so I can melt balloons from a mile away.

If you're just interested in the laser itself they sell that too on the website.

Although playing with what would be legally the most powerful laser you can buy would suggest you don't shine it towards anyone D:

You'd probably end up with guys that look like that two dudes who had their faces melted off in Indiana Jones
