On topic, I honestly thought for a moment "Is that Sandy--and is Mike disappointed?" She only bore a vague resemblance to Sandy--but I guess we'll only know for sure in a bit... Because people can look quite different with makeup, I guess. But somehow I pictured Sandy going for a much more innocent, yet beautiful look.

Not sure how you could mistake her for Sandy. After all, Sandy has black hair. This model would, if anything, be more like stylish Hair Lucy with a growth spurt.

Couldn't be makeup because she doesn't need it (or at least not enough to make her a mime!), she has natural beauty.
If I recall right, their main privilege is seeing the first page of the next chapter. But, as for the current chapter, they see the same page as you and I (and every other non-BCI-member) do.
They don't do that anymore, they do other stuff.

Suddenly, we find out that she has bleached her hair and undergone rapid cosmetic surgery. She walks up to him after the show and gives him a large kiss, and he recoils in shock. Much hilarity ensues as she attempts to explain, particularly when it turns out that she has forgotten her drivers' licence, her credit cards and all other forms of identification. The situation is resolved when she makes a face that he remembers fondly - that one they are both wearing on their bonsai figurines.
Of course, the real problem will probably be that he will not get a good enough look at her; she might be hidden by somebody else's immense dress, by somebody running on stage, or he might fall asleep when she does not show up for a long time.
Or nothing of that might happen. ^_^

I see "Living on a Prayer" as a perfect theme to the MikexSandy relationship - in particular, the facts that it faces numerous hardships (not the least of which is being a long-distance relationship), and that it perseveres in spite of said hardships.
And, yes, I can find a studio recording - first result when I look it up on YouTube. But I'm considering making a "Living on a Prayer" video myself based on the MikexSandy ship, and if I use the studio recording, I wanna be using it for that. And I wanna save it for the last one.

I recognize the girl on the far left of the first panel. She kinda looks like the "L'Oriel girl" from Ask BCB, except different hair and brown eyes instead of blue.

Actually, Paulo would be less likely to cheat than Mike. That's precisely why Paulo's in a bind now: he loves Lucy, but is currently going out with Jasmine.

Taeshi's Formspring does answer a lot of questions about the characters, but Taeshi doesn't give out spoilers to future plotlines. We do know that BCB will conclude at the end of junior year, and that there are two potential endings planned (a good one and a bad one).
