Chapter 71: Just Beautiful
Starcraft 2 obviously. Now Mike is going to become addicted and take on the user of Idra, with all of his drama, and pursue a passionate career in the game.

It could be salmon cakes. Sandy knows Mike loves salmon, so she could've bought some dainties made out of salmon for Mike to drool over.
Though if we revisit the scarf thing again: Mike originally bought his blue scarf in the middle of seventh grade, and ditched it early in ninth grade, right before he made the initial phone call to Sandy. Thus Sandy would probably not be aware he ever even had a blue scarf. However, since Mike received the iPhone a couple months back, he's been able to exchange pictures with Sandy, so she might know by now that he favours a yellow-and-orange scarf. So in picking a thoughtful and considerate gift, Sandy could've chosen to buy Mike another scarf. It'd certainly be ironic if the colour of the scarf Sandy picked were blue, which could explain Mike's surprise in the last panel.
Then again, Sandy's gift is probably something completely different.
Although I do wonder precisely why Mike got the blue scarf in the first place, since at the time he bought it, Lucy had rejected him, and he wasn't in close communication with Sandy. Maybe the scarf represented hope that somehow, one or the other of his crushes (either blue-eyed or blue-ribboned) would work out.

Sandy's present is, of course, Schrödinger's cat. Inside is Haley, and Michael just found out whether she was dead or alive. ^_^
It is most likely not a scarf - if you see at the size of what is Michael is wearing around his neck, and subsequently at the size of the box, you see that either the present is something else, or it is a very small scarf indeed.

Ooh, maybe it's her old ribbon. He would certainly appreciate it, and the size of the box allows for that. Of course, ILB, scarves aren't bulky if you fold them right. The color would matter most, though. Also, the current scarf was Tessa's right? Taeshi's trying to limit her role so maybe Sandy's gift would make sense. Not to mention it's another big change in Mike's life. It's scarf-changing season all right.

I'd say if it was folded well enough it would be probable for it to be a scarf. Though knowing the comic thus far it could be something completely different whether scarves seem to be a recurring theme or not

So it was a blue scarf after all. I suppose this means Mike had sent Sandy some pictures of himself along with his letters, hence she knew he had a blue scarf. Mike was definitely surprised by the gift, but at least he seems to be happy in the last panel. Maybe he'd think only of Sandy from now on, and no longer about Lucy (even if he did promise Sandy he'd talk to her).
