Sandy's mom is definitely uptight and concerned with appearances, but she doesn't seem to be surprised or upset that Sandy has a boyfriend. So maybe I was wrong on that point. Maybe Sandy told her mother about Mike beforehand and has worked things out so she doesn't have to hide anything. Or maybe Sandy's mom just has better things to do right now (like talk business) than deal with Sandy's long-distance boyfriend whom she'll probably never meet again anyway.
Don't worry about Sandy's mom, Mike. Just give your girlfriend a nice farewell kiss, and cherish the moment. You probably won't be seeing her again for a while.
As for the scarf, I don't know how nostalgic it really is where Sandy's concerned, since Mike didn't wear a scarf in third grade.

Weirdly nostalgic, Mike? Yeah, I don't think so. The original blue scarf represented Lucy. I bet it's still rotting in your locker. 
I love how annoyed Sandy and Mike are at Sandy's mother. It's not like they both knew that Sandy had to leave pretty quickly and would only have a few minutes to talk to Mike before leaving. Yes, her mother is just being SOOOOO unreasonable. -_-

It's going to be a long time before they can meet again. I think it's going to require Sandy to stand up to her mother (just basing it off of one page might be bad, but it's just a guess) and let her do what she wants, because the way the mom seems right now I think it was all a coincidence she even got to be there and was loosely set up by Sandy to invite Mike.

Surprise kiss! How sweet (and mischievous) of Sandy. At least Mike will come away with this much. He did seem a bit uncertain following the entrance of Sandy's mother.
And yes, still seven pages remaining in this chapter. Since Sandy and her mother are departing, the next page would seem the logical conclusion of the visit, but who really knows? I'd guess the focus still remains on Mike, as it's been since the start of the chapter, but if so, for what? For Haley to bug him about kissing Sandy? Will the last page turn out to be Sandy reading Mike's letter?
Sandy and especially Mike's hands seem a little too small in panel 3. Other than that, I'd say the artwork has generally been excellent throughout this chapter. As a matter of fact, I don't think there are many webcartoonists who work primarily in watercolour, so it's a treat that Taeshi can do it well. And if she enjoys doing it, all the better.

I think it looks weird because the arms are really long without the bodies showing. I kind of just wanted the arms to show, but for the bodies to not be showing they would have to be bending themselves back. I don't think Sandy's hand is too bad, but aaufhdkjfhdkf mike yeah :-[ babbyhands

I noticed the number of pages left, but I wouldn't built too much expectations over it. The couple of things left for this chapter can easily stretch over that number, and I doubt there's much new drama that wouldn't deserve more than that to unfold.

I really have no title to comment on art, but..
Long version: At first I wasn't very happy about the watercolors. The whole thing looked better, more artistical, more precious.. but the contours were somehow more fuzzy, and the first pages looked almost like someone else had drawn them instead of Taeshi. In short the change from the previous style (ch. 60-69) felt a little awkward and I kind of disliked it.
This is mostly just a matter of personal taste, but I think the last few pages and especially this last one have instead reached a point where I no longer regret anything from the previous style. Apart from the colours, now also the contours are neat and brilliant and I love each panel!

Sandy is always dressed, because she's a model. The main cast is always naked. It's canon that David's dick is the size of Lucy's forearm so it begs the question of how he goes about hiding that beneath his fur. Whether it's outside or retracted, he is trying to conceal a fucking anaconda.

Awww, Sandy's sweet and mischievous at the same time. Though I don't know how Mike quite feels about wearing his new blue scarf. He may be reminded too much of his previous blue scarf which he'd bought with Lucy.
To Cavara regarding the watercolours: you know what they say, practice makes perfect. For an artist switching to a new medium, it can be awkward at first to get things "just right", and sometimes quite a bit of experimentation is needed (Taeshi had a chance to do that with her "Ask Roseville High" watercolours). But after enough practice, the art improves, and the artist herself is better for having expanded her skillset.
To Volgrand: it's only been 6½ years. And they are both still teenagers, experiencing the awkward stages of love.

Tess won't miss that yellow-and-orange scarf. She gave it to Mike to keep, so he can do whatever he wants with it. Besides, she's rich so she can buy lots more scarves if she wants.
