I actually think we're all suppose to assume that now that he has the blue scarf back and Sandy told him to lighten up, that everything is gonna be sunshine and rainbows and back to pure comedy no drama from here on out.

The scarf looks awfully similar to the first blue scarf Mike had. Lucy might not even notice it's a different scarf. Still, I expect she'll keep her distance from Mike, as she said she would.
As for Tess and emotional attachments: she has no strong attachment to Mike, but I still wonder if she's entirely over Paulo.

I actually had the same thought as Jerk, upon seeing panels 5-7. What if, for some strange reason, Mike had decided after the events of "December" that he couldn't carry on a long-distance relationship with Sandy anymore? And he decided to write her a letter to explain himself and break up with her? Although that would be rather shitty of him, not having the cojones to tell her to her face. Then again, it's not like he was able to spend a lot of time with Sandy, and he probably didn't want to spoil the moment.
Or maybe I'm just imagining crazy things, and Mike is simply despondent that he won't be able to see Sandy again for a long while.
I wonder if Mike ever wishes he could cast Stupefy on his sister.
Since the fashion show occurred in the evening, it would be more likely that Sandy and her mother would stay at a hotel for the night, rather than taking a red-eye flight home.

If it wasn't for the envelope this one might have very well been the last page of the chapter.
I don't expect big turns of events from the letter anyway, since Michael was genuinely embarassed about it, plus there was the chance that Sandy would have opened it right away. This date has probably been unsatisfactory for Michael, but he came to it with great expectations, and whatever he gave to Sandy should play along with that.
But if the date left him so disappointed, the question that occurs to me instead is: "may he be already regretting whatever he put or wrote in that envelope?"

Yes, the fact that Mike was embarrassed by the letter is the biggest argument for it being a simple love letter rather than anything momentous. At least, I hope.
I think if there was anything for Mike to be disappointed about, it would be that he couldn't spend more time with Sandy.

Oh GOD please tell me that Mike is starting to feel guilty at how he treated Lucy and this is where the redemption will begin.
Well it probably won't be... there's a lot he has to do to rebuild the bridge that he burned down between Lucy and him... but at least he can stop being a terrible person now... please please please... I don't want to hate you anymore than I have to, Mike. GOD. :S

Or, he could be thinking about his letter. I dunno. I sure hope his expression in the last page was him feeling bad about Lucy, though. Even though he and Sandy had said their farewells, they still ended the meeting on a positive note. So I think it's probably something else that has him thinking.

I don't think he'll actually make contact with her, or at least not long enough to have a civil conversation with her before the end of the chapter. Who knows, he might walk up to her door, ask to see her, and then give her a black eye for messing with his phone... or talk it out, I don't know

It is hard to make a prediction at this point... I was waiting to know what was in the envelope he left Sandy, and I'd have expected to see something like a couple of pages split in two, showing a thoughtful Michael on one side, and Sandy reading his letter on the other side.
But Sandy should open the envelope on the flight back, and she is leaving the next day as far as we know, so there is the chance that we won't even see that before the end of the chapter.
It looks like everybody expects him to go to Lucy's, but I think it's just too late anyway, unless Taeshi is going to cut the chapter on the verge of a climax. Maybe he'll just walk past her house, or he might even meet her while she is taking a walk herself. I wouldn't despise it as a conclusion for the chapter if they just met under the snow and she ignored him, walking on without a word. Or something similar.. maybe she is walking in the snow (just beautiful) on the other side of the street and doesn't even notice him, and he just stares at her in silence while she walks away, thinking of what he'll have to tell her sooner or later. The best case scenario I can think of here is mike going over to Lucy and apologizing, and everyone walks away happy. Worst case scenario, Mike walks over to Lucy's and she's killed herself. What I predict though is that Mike is going to Lucy's house to apologize, but Sam answers the door and has pieced together that it's Mike's fault that Lucy's so sad. Sam is just about to unleash his wrath upon Mike when Lucy stops him, and that's the end of the chapter. The next chapter would be their conversation, and who knows where that could go.

Yeah i'm feeling like there's too many pages for nothing else to happen, but too little for anything to happen.

If Mike is going over to Lucy to apologize for going too far in "December", that would actually be a positive development. An apology doesn't need to be long either. And it would be all thanks to Sandy.
On the other hand, if Mike goes to Lucy's house but then chooses not to apologize...
As mentioned above, Mike could also be turned away by Jordan or even Sam. They're both protective of Lucy.

Considering Taeshi will probably not want this to "blow over" so easily I'm terrified that when Mike gets there something would've happened to Lucy. Be it self afflicted or an accident or something and then there will be the tearful apology that isn't really enough, or Lucy will no longer need Mike and Mike suddenly doesn't know if he's okay with that...

There's tons of good possibilities to go with the bad ones. Of course, in a comic like this, bad ones are always slightly more likely. Either way, the chapter's been happy so far; conflict is welcome, but not necessary. I'd personally prefer it to stay happy, but it'll more than likely be an interesting development no matter what happens.

WHO THE FUCK THREW THAT SNOWBALL? I figure it's Lucy...but given their current situation, would that really be appropriate of her? Last time we saw her...she had actually smirked at Paulo. But would that give her the confidence to wonder out in the streets near nightfall, stumble upon Mike, and start throwing shit at him? I question it...and Taeshi usually isn't so predictable. Though I've gotten lucky, lately, with all my guesses, so hell if I know...

I'm just glad Jerk didn't claim that snowball to actually be frozen semen
sticking to the comic... if I linger on Michael's expressions panel 1-5 (i'm counting 3 panels in the first row although there's no boundaries.. very nice Taeshi btw) could still go with "just going nowhere, having a talk with my thoughts" theory, but then considering panel 4 to 7 it looks like he has -deliberately or accidentally- reached some kind of destination. He raises his eyes as if looking at a building or at a window at the second floor, then becomes sulky.
It could actually be Lucy's house: he got there, not necessarily because he wants to see Lucy now, I think his thoughts were revolving more around Sandy and himself until this moment. But once he walked as far as Lucy's house and raised his eyes to her window he couldn't help but think of his hassle with her and that he'll be forced to talk to her again.
Even if it was Lucy's house, though, I don't think she could be the one throwing the snowball, it looks more like something Yashy would do.

I didn't even think about Yashy... THAT would be a particularly awkward meeting. "Yo Flea! Where you been why ain'tcha makin out with mom?" It has potential...
I can also see it being Paulo indecicively waiting outside Lucy's house with his new dilemma of feelings and deciding he can at least do one thing and wring out what happened between Mike and Lucy.
