BCB Comment Simulator v1.0!

The Comic Comment Section is an alluring and unpredictable slice of the BCB community, where hundreds of the thousands of fans reach for their commentator hat and plunge themselves waist-deep in the horror that is social interaction. Whether through prophesying potential future events in the comic, appreciation of a character or the artist herself, or even telling the sod a few places above them that their favourite 'ship is garbage and they hope that the character they like meets an untimely end through a knife in the neck, this is the place to go where it happens the most. For those who just prefer to read the boring opinions of others, there's the Gold Star system, which by design displays the best that the commentator community has to offer, either through interesting insight, comedic input or appreciation of events.

But what about those special comments which don't just quite make the cut, those often vitriolic in nature opinions which don't generally have a chance of achieving a gold star status?

This video is an 'appreciation' to those very special comments you find way down there in the depths of the abyss and to those very enthusiastic contributors who seek none other than to provide us with a limitless source of entertainment and a life-time of headaches.

I really enjoy this concept, and I really hope there will be more of these.

Probably could have used a few more clips (as I feel that's the funniest part of these 'simulators', cutting from some madness someone wrote to a clip), but it's still wonderful anyway.

Was this a private project you set out on?

(Shameless plug: there is an actual BCB comment simulator over at BCB ebooks (BCB_ebooks) on Twitter that updates every few hours)

Crap, I just agreed to read trough hundreds upon hundreds of those comments.
Eh, whatever, might as well get to it.

hehe i guess you could mount a sequel from the comments of a single page! Why did you think many webcomics stick to lolz and unexistent plots? You don't mess with the fans'feelings! Never forget Misery! ;)

Sure, why not? These videos are great fun. There aren't any plans right now to make a sequel right now, but maybe in a few weeks or months, who knows? There's a lot of interesting quotes hidden away deep in the site.

Actually Suitcase got me started by suggesting the idea, drawing inspiration from the obvious videos on youtube.

Haha I loled with the last message when I saw it was Taeshi's :D Nice video, do more please! :)

I think my favorite one was "Dear Mike, I hope you die slowly and painfully, or spend 3-5 chapters paying for your sins".

Any page: Ctrl + F + "Thanatos."

Next episode needs Mario 2 Overworld Theme.

Also this is an amazing idea.

any one think about brentalfloss's version of the song Mario 2 over world theme called the truth about toad

Ok now I hope I don't get banned by Taeshi for this, but I couldn't keep myself...
But it wasn't me to plant the idea into my mind, so it's not all my fault :P

ha! that's funny, yet really sad. I never bother with page comments anymore, so many people are too goddamn dramatic and unnecessarily vicious with anyone who thinks differently.

HEY THAT WAS PONIES

all in all, I expected something more than just mike. presumably other topics of conversation will come up in later installments?

Trying to make one of these, but I am really new to Sony Vegas and I'm trying to find out how to zoom in and "scroll" in the program.

Uhh, that was pretty great. Lotsa fun. I didn't expect it to be quite as amusing as it was, really. I hapily await the sequel.

But you should do a dramatic reading instead of tin can synthesizers. owo Also what program was it made with?
