WOW okay I'm new here but I'd really like to get more active in the community!
Because lurking for a year on the Booru isn't as much fun at all.

SO I'm 16 and this is some of my stuff! I'm open to requests and stuff unless stated otherwise...due to a busy Junior year and stuff.

Thank you! And one confusion, can you elaborate more on your feedback with the dragon? I'm sorry to have to ask, but I don't quite understand what you're saying and I really appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback on it.

Well, I'm basically saying it looks fantastical.
The positioning and dimensions, particularly of the head, make little sense physically (my brain is locked into seeking a real world application for fake objects, like the eyes being that of a preyed animal like a herbivore, allowing it to have a good view around itself but not in front, making it a poor hunter. Juxtaposed, the teeth and limbs, most notibly the forelimbs and phalanges, suggest a carnivore. It also looks poorly balanced. [TL DR; I'm a "take everything as a serious possibility" sort of guy]). Despite this, it looks good and even plausible in the sense you could be dreaming.

That probably made less sense then before.

Those sketches look AWESOME. Love the sheep especially! Because sheeps. Going back to the post before it, the 4-armed dragon/lizard/thing was my favorite. It's eyes stood out for me. Keep 'em coming! 8-D

O that first image with the half-man half-goat creature, is it a wolf or a dear beside it? Or a dear with a wolf's head! One freak completing the other :smirk:

It's actually a water deer! They have fangs (this one's a mix of a pudu/tufted deer because I'm experimenting with designs, but they look like this:)

One request down! I'm still working on the Sol Badguy one, he's proving to be a little difficult, but I'll get there!
Sorry this is so sloppy, I was working with colors and bg on one layer, just different techniques and stuff. I learned some stuff, some stuff didn't work, the whole thing, yadda yadda.

That Rachel's pretty swell. You did good with the color; limited palettes are so hard augh. I noticed you just generally treat color well; that hand and owl and people gesture watercolor thing were all really great. I'm really excited to see what else you'll share!

And water deer use those to spar, they're kinda like antlers. Think of them as super kawaii tiny deer. With tusks. They eat shoots and leaves and shit, ahah.

I uh. Well to be honest it was the face for me, it seems as if someone smashed her face in with a shovel. The other art doesn't seem to suffer from that issue so I don't know if it is your style or just a choice on that picture in particular. And maybe the angle makes her seem incredibly 2D, like a cardboard cutout falling over.

In defense of that picture it's more of a combination of being uncomfortable with my tools (I usually use a Cintiq tablet but my computer's on the fritz so I've had to downgrade significantly) and drawing at 2 or 3AM. There are elements I like (like the legs, I struggled to get those right), but it's not a great picture. Oh well.

I'll see what I can do!

UHM sorry for lack of updates, I've been really busy with school starting last week and other stuff. I'm posting some stuff I've done but haven't posted before? The first one's from about a year ago, the second one's just a character design I've been refining for like a year and a half.
Working on those requests but I'm going to have to say that's it for a little while.

Oooo those are pretty. The poodle dragon certainly is a silly beast isn't it? And the background for the wolf and goat pic is very nice, although I'm not certain what exactly the goat's expression is supposed to convey in that situation.
