Good on Rachel for dragging Jessica to the party. At least it shows they've come closer to letting bygones be bygones regarding Tess. I guess neither of them attended the Christmas party though, or they'd know that Lucy didn't show up for that one. Wonder if Jessica will have anyone to surreptitiously check out tonight?

Yeah, Mike's on the blue team now. Sorry yellow guys!
I think Abbey got an erection (which is indeed a very rare occurrence) because of all the blue. Likely had Abbey completely forgot about the few honor classes he had with bluescarf Mike.
Oh, he totally was. In fact did Paulo pay so much attention to Mike's effeminated posture that he completely overlooked the scarf had a change of color.
It sorta reminds of when Mike stopped wearing his original scarf. The cast more or less projects Mike in a scarf. Nobody realized he wasn't actually wearing it until Paulo tried to reach for it. As a result Paulo freaked out on its absence.

Maybe Paulo only noticed the scarf change after Daisy pointed it out? People are sorta blind in the BCB world, huh? Tripping over turtles at every turn, not noticing scarf absences and color changes...I'd hate to see any of them behind the wheel.

Abbey likely feels out of place because he's the only one out of the group who doesn't notice or care that Mike is once again wearing a blue scarf. No doubt this is because he's not even aware that Mike had habitually worn a blue scarf before. (He would've seen Mike wearing the scarf in Honors English class at the beginning of ninth grade, but wouldn't have paid much attention to him, preferring to focus on Daisy. Mike then ditched the blue scarf less than two weeks later.)
Apparently Mike will need to do some explaining about that blue scarf. For instance, that it's actually new and a gift from Sandy.
At first I thought Daisy was referring to Blue Green.

Well, Lucy's drug dream did demonstrate that if Mike were to wear a blue scarf, she would notice that. I personally interprets that more as an act of curiosity rather than as a response on some potential unrevealed symbolic. All Lucy knows is that Mike was very picky with the color but he never explained why. If the color happens to be tied to Sandy's ribbon and/or Lucy's eye color, I can understand why he would be quiet about it. It's like either risking hurting Lucy or making her embarrassed, resulting in punch as an outcome. We can't be too sure though; especially since this information came from a dream.
Despite Rachel implied Lucy would be coming, I suspects she might be heading another way. If that's the case, maybe the focus will turn there eventually?
David should totally snatch some of Tess' booze and spike the punch with it. Then Abbey is certainly going to feel out of place when people starts to get drunk.

Paulo definitely wishes he could be having fun with his girl just like everyone else. However, Taeshi's comment indicates that the girl he's actually thinking of is Lucy, not Jasmine. True, he's concerned about Lucy as a friend, but he also has a definite crush on her, and his current girlfriend is once again unavailable (even if it's not her fault this time). Perhaps this is the time when Paulo must tell Jasmine that he can't keep dating a girl who never seems to have time for him. Jasmine will be disappointed, but she'll get over it.
The question now becomes whether Lucy will attend the party. Drama would almost seem to demand it, what with Mike's blue scarf and Paulo and all, but perhaps the suspense will be prolonged. The second girl looks a bit like Jasmine.
The third girl looks a bit like Lucy.
They are all girls that Paulo's got some interest in. The last one is, of course, Tess, who isn't seeing anybody right now.
All of them sans-Tess are with guys that are presumably either their boyfriends or in the middle of being picked up. Paulo didn't even realise he was looking at them and feeling lonely until he got asked if that was what he was doing.

Tess had different reasons for leaving Paulo. It wasn't because she found someone better, but because she was going to be graduating and couldn't make someone as young as Paulo wait for her. She realized they both still had lots of life to live before either of them would be ready to commit.
As for Paulo? He likes Jasmine, but she's unavailable a lot. Not exactly the best match for him there, he's the type who likes to have fun with his girl. On the other hand, he's smitten with Lucy, and has been since middle school. Not that Lucy would necessarily be more available, or even feel like dating at this point, but it's a risk Paulo would be willing to take. He's not a cheater though; he'd break up with Jasmine first. Needless to say, this could be setting up both Jasmine and Paulo for heartbreak.

Things sure has been really awkward for Paulo. According to his logic is it cheating to have feelings for another person while being in a commitment. Maybe he should accept his sin like a man and rally the cheater beater squad onto himself. It certainly had effect on Mike, so maybe the same would apply on Paulo, too.
