Man I feel bad for Jasmine. She's adorable and I like her but I know what's coming. And gosh she does look so pretty here.

At least if he does it at the party Jazz has comfort? Still would be pretty cruel.

Paulo whants this break up to be memorable and he could think of no better place then a new years eve party. I just hope he has enough common sense to take it out on tess balcony. Jasmine will always be paulo's little shoulder monkey. She will not be forgotten.

I'm not quite sure what will happen here. If Paulo wants to break up with Jasmine, now would certainly be a symbolic moment to do so (out with the old, in with the new). Of course, it's not exactly the appropriate place to do so (the difficult chat with Jasmine would best be done in private).

Paulo may decide to go ahead and break up with Jasmine anyway, in expectation of Lucy showing up later. In that, he may be disappointed. Lucy may not even show up to the party at all, and in any case she may not be ready to date again for a while. Which would be understandable on her part, since she's still struggling to get over Mike. Hence Paulo may end up with no one for the time being.

The school play is due to take place right when school starts up again; I wonder how Lucy will handle herself around Mike at that time. Hopefully she doesn't have a complete breakdown. Alternatively, she might decide that seeing a therapist is a higher priority for herself at the moment, and call up Katie to perform as her understudy. So the play could be a disaster one way or another.

I don't really know if anytime is the "best time" to break up with someone though, I mean I know a guy who traveled from the US to Italy to visit his girlfriend and she broke up with him 3 days before he was meant to go home. I feel like if Paulo tries and makes it symbolic that might just upset Jasmine more, she's a smart girl she'll get the hint pretty quickly. I actually think Paulo will start to then just kinda decide not to at the last second as to not ruin the party, boy's lovesick but not a dick.

This is my favorite plane crash. The sixteen year old pilot genuinely thought he could do the same degree of damage as 9/11 in a single engine Cessna. No one else was killed and everyone forgot his martyrdom (except me because it still gives me the giggles).

We do know that Jasmine would be fairly understanding if she and Paulo broke up. She knows she's young and still has a lot of life ahead of her and plenty of time to explore relationships. Though she'd probably feel hurt if Paulo broke up with her because of another girl. Wonder if he'll just leave it as "you're too busy and I never get to see you", or if he'll admit he loves someone else? The truth would likely be better, even if it's more painful.

Hopefully Jasmine's not expecting Paulo to whisper sweet nothings into her ear. The only commitment Paulo's about to make is to Lucy, who's not even there to return the favour.

Look at jasmine the poor girl has no idea whats about to happen. She looks all cute and innocent finally going to get to spend some time whith paulo at a party and then it all goes horribly wrong for her like as sone as she gets there. I feel bad for her.

The real tragedy of it all is that whatever Paulo decides, it will probably ultimately affect him a whole lot more than it will Jasmine.

Also, bluefox, not to offend you or anything, but if I had to pick one single word I wish you'd correct in your typing, it would be the word 'with'. You repeatedly keep spelling it 'whith'.

Iv'e always had atrocious spelling. I had to go to grammar counseling for about the first year of school because I could not pronounce my r's rite along whith some other letteres. It offend's me none and I hope it dosent bother you to bad. W I T H. I did it!
I can also see paulo not being able to go through whith it this is his first breack up isen't it? He may not no how to go through whith it and panic at the last momment and change his mind because he dosent whant to heart jasmine.

Reading more books tends to make your spelling better. And you wrote "whith" again twice. Try writing it out several times right each time you get it wrong, to get used to the right spelling (you are probably so used to writing "whith" now that you do it every time, automatically. gotta break the chain). Also, if you're using Firefox or Chrome there's some good automatic spell-checker apps you can get which underline wrong words and make suggestions. Reading your text before clicking post also helps!

Chrome auto-correct doesn't correct capitalisation. And while I usually make an effort, capitalisation is a pretty minor, passable typo for forum posts. It wouldn't pass on a more formal text, but I don't really care here. Also, chrome auto-correct doesn't identify the word "gotta" as correct. Suggested corrections: gutta and glottal.

I wasn't being a grammar Nazi, just giving bluefox some suggestions since the topic came up. English is a pretty dumb language, in terms of the written-spoken language relation. Probably one of the hardest languages to learn to spell right in.

er, dyslexia covers a lot of things and there are many types. and there are specific kinds that affect reading but not so much spelling and then otheres that affect speech but not reading or spelling.
