Well, that certainly solved Paulo's problem!

(Jazzie is going to date Ace.)

Although Jasmine may then ask what Paulo was going to tell her. He may be slightly at a loss for words. Maybe the best he could do would be to agree with her and say he had kinda been thinking the same thing.

Rarely has Lucy ever provided emotional support. Being an emotionally dependent person, she wouldn't normally be there for someone whenever that person feels down and anxious. She would rather stomp on her best friend's feelings instead of trying to cheer him up.

Im hoping this is a turning point for lucy to not be such a cold hearted bich. Maby this year she'll see she has freinds besides mike. Like paulo coming to her whith his love problem like she did. Maby she will be able to relate more to him and open up to him seeing him hurt like she was.

I mean, you can't assume lucy is incapable of emotional support. Just cuz she is in need of it doesnt mean mean she isnt stoic enough to admit it. I'm skeptical of how well things will work out with her and Paulo initially.

Who assumed Lucy was incapable of emotional support? There are rare occasions she actually supports Mike, having this and this serving as good examples. It doesn't make up for it on the long run, though. Because this is more typical to her way of supporting someone. It's comparable to if Mike had just pushed her off in this scenario and shouted to her "DON'T TOUCH ME!".

But like what bluefox is hoping might very well be the case. If she reflects on her hurtful behaviors and starts to iron them out, she will be enabled to get along with her friends really well. She could do stuff like tagging along Sue and Amaya to the cinema, or she could be hanging out with Daisy, who is together with Rachel and Jessica. Even if Lucy could ultimately reject Paulo romantically, I can imagine they will become really good friends (as opposed to having him more as a replacement to lean on).

Also, Jasmine totally found her love with Ace, no questions about it.

You're all pointing out instances with Mike though. She still tries to be supportive to her friends, just not as good at it. You can see an instance where she offers support to Daisy right here.

And if you also pay attention, Lucy begins offering less support to Mike as Sandy gets more involved in his life again. Likely because she feels she isn't needed and because she's hurt.

To be fair, it was Lucy who pretty much demanded Mike to think of Sandy as a girlfriend. But because of Sandy could not be physically with Mike, Lucy would only judge the long-distance relationship as nothing more than a mere excuse to ascertain she was just Mike's friend. For Lucy, it's practically a façade made to obviate the inconvenience of reflecting her feelings for Mike. It wasn't until Lucy learned the fact Mike wouldn't hesitate on the opportunity to move away to be with Sandy that Lucy started to freak out.

Lucy is very capable of being caring and compassionate but there's this huge wall of hurt and misunderstanding and some pride a little bit of dependency and social interaction issues that could use some work. Nothing too serious. Im sure she can handle it.

Well, that breakup was surprisingly drama-free! It's a good thing Paulo and Jasmine get along so well.

What next? Paulo will wait for Lucy to show up to the party. Which she may or may not do. She probably won't be ready for a relationship just yet, so he'll have to wait for her. Meanwhile, he can be responsible and occupy himself with a job, starting in April. ;)

And Jasmine... goes right back to being a busy freshman. Perhaps we'll see the occasional cameo of her.

The school play drama is yet to come, though. Still plenty of fireworks left in this season of angst!

I thought lucy wood show up to the party and all hell was going to breck lose but that doesn't appear to be the case. lucy and augusts will probably spend the nite talking about the lovers they will never have. Then out off spite they will go to honors english class and have sex on mike and daisy's desk all nite.
