It was part of a series of Christmas drawings that Taeshi did last year, it was all uploaded as one big picture here

Thatt was about two months before I started coming here.

Edit: It's been awhile since I actually looked through that, I got a few good laughs off of the various pictures.
Also this place definitely has the best community of anywhere I've dared to venture on the internet ^^

Thank you Rex for letting me use it! I saw this yesterday and I was like "F*** yeah! new avatar!" but then I went to bed so that I would do it today and when I woke up Rex was using it. I was fine with letting him keep it, but he offered to let me use it so thanks!

If I didn't hate Abbey more as a character, I'd make Mike's expression in that picture and his bloody fist my avatar.

Giygas is a symbolic representation of rape that was inspired by a traumatic event in Mother series creator Shigesato Itoi's childhood. As a child, he saw a murder scene in a movie after walking into the wrong theater. Even though it was actually a murder scene, Itoi thought it was actually a rape scene. Regardless, it fucked him up for a while.

He decided to let Giygas represent his trauma during that eventful moment, and there are numerous theories as to what Giygas may be. The most popular one proposes that Giygas is a fetus, and the main characters are attempting to "abort" it to prevent Giygas from becoming even more powerful. It seems plausible. Do some research if you're interested because the thread isn't about Giygas, but other people's avatars.

@Mikanada I didn't know Mike was a nut. His eyes disturb me. :/

I just grabbed an image I liked, and that is the best advice I can give you. I personally like it when others have avatars on forums as it gives a bit of an idea of who they are and it makes it a bit easier to communicate.

Who needs inspiration? I just took the album cover of the song I was listening to and gave it a few tweaks. Now it's grown on me :D

She's a fan character from that one fan comic about sandy's life in her school. She appeared in the comic itself though.

So for the next couple days I got Santa Scott Pilgrim. What is stereotypical for new years and doesn't involve hats?

Edit: Also yours is cool Spark. I like it overall, especially the hyrulian text, but the image is faded almost to where I can't tell what it is. Sorry to say. The rest is cool though
