I used to play the trumpet alot (Full band ensemble and jazz quartets), not so much anymore. Picked it up a few month's ago and just been having some fun making up some random solo's. Fun to play for your own amusement once in awhile.

I built a really sweet pillow fort the other day and just sat inside giggling after I had made a "Lost Girls Only" Sign and put it on there.

That made me chuckle. I have a 2 year old niece and she learned the I got your nose trick. So I took her nose and threw it in the yard and she went looking for it.

Play around with making chiptunes. I used to do it to pass the time back before I had internet. Was pretty fun, even if I was horrible. Had my hard drive smashed to bits, but that's definitely my fault.

LaCommie's comment reminded me of when I used to build forts out of couch cushions and blankets and chairs and anything else that was available. Man those days were fun. Sometimes these forts were quite expansive, covering literally half the room. More like a two-story palace for a little kid, complete with interior lighting and all. Perhaps I ought to revisit those days when my nephew gets a little older (he's 1½ years old right now). Although sadly we no longer have those cushions, which is too bad; they were great for building!

As depressing as this may come off as... I haven't been able to look at myself full length in a mirror for years. Even when I go to get new clothes, I'll make sure to rig a jacket over the mirror or situate myself in a way that I won't see myself on accident. Due to medical reasons, I'm no longer able to be as active as I once was, and having a naturally slow metabolism, this had lead to obvious weight gain and a drop in self confidence and esteem.

I'm seriously looking forward to the day that I'll feel at least halfway decent about my overall appearance, until then I'll keep dying my hair outrageous colors and being a sarcastic ass to keep myself entertained.

Trying to see how many small animals I could attach to an attractive girl.

Ever go to someplace giving away kittens with your girlfriend and see how many you could latch on to her jeans? Hilarious shit.

Though luring eight squirrel monkeys to perch on Jessie was probably the funniest.

i used to trick squirrels into thinking that my sister was a tree. kinda like that, Jerk?
  • #12

Basically. But I wouldn't do that to my sister for several reasons, none of which involve respect.

squirrels are one of the few animals that will mistake a human for a tree if they stand still enough. we'd leave food out in an open-ish area not too far away from trees and then if chase the squirrel away from the trees, towards my sister. as long as she stood still enough, the squirrel would see her and go "oh look, an escape place" and then climb her

it's a teamwork thing.

I haven't been to an amusement park in eight years. Not that it matters, because it was Kings Island, and that place has always sucked.
