Valentine's Day 2013

So, what are you going to be doing for Valentine's Day? Dinner? Box of Chocolate's? Reading Valentine's Day comics?

For the people still in high school and middle school, who are you sending a gram to?

pfft. Valentine's Day is about love and there's no love more important than self-love. i'm just going to use Valentine's Day as a day to treat myself to whatever the fuck it is that i want. besides, there's no one i love more than myself~

i've always been a cynical asshole when its comes to valentines days. but now i got a girlfriend so i have to at least try to celebrate it.

Not gonna do anything beyond getting her some flowers and spend the night, she works the evening and I work during the day so it wasn't going to work out with dinner or anything. Besides, she was quite adamant about not going out to dinner this year because she can't afford to go dress shopping again and other expense related stuff.

I get out of class late, spouse gets off work even later...I know he wants to see the new Die Hard movie though, so maybe we'll have a movie date. If that doesn't work, at least there's some fine wine in the fridge~

My school library is doing a cure "Blind Date with a Book" thing where you go and check out a wrapped up book and I think I'm just gonna settle in and do that wearing some comfy PJs and a hot mug of coffee.

The Juniors at my high school had a drive where you could buy and then send carnations to people. This was amusing for a few reasons:

1) I sent one to myself.

2) There were dead/crushed flowers EVERYWHERE at school today.

3) Lots of people sent people flowers in other people's names. Some girl I didn't know thanked me for sending her one, but I had never met this girl before.

4) The French exchange students also received carnations for Valentine's day. However, in France, you give people carnations at funerals. They were very confused.

I utilized the opportunity to get a decent night's rest after having previously slept a collective total of seven hours throughout the duration of the week. Nothing else of any due relevance transpired; to be wholly transparent, life is far too complicated and busy at the moment for me to possess the capacity to dedicate the deserved amount of time and effort into a viable relationship. It seems as though that problem is going around a lot as of late.

Isn't Valentine's Day just awesome
