I love Princess Mononoke. Wen ashitaka falls off yakul after being shot in the village and that wolf turns around and grabs him by the head and starts shaking him around like a rag doll was my favorite part. That was hilarious!!

Probably the original Night of the Living Dead. Creepy, yet with a not-so-subtle message, and proof that color film is not always superior to black and white.

Mine would more than likely be "The Wizard of Oz". Its just onte of those movies you cant get sick of nomatter how meny times you watch it.

I've always considered myself a huge V for Vendetta fan, but tonight I watched Primer, a time travel movie that explores the implications of fucking with the timeline, and does it in a way that leaves you in an state of pure confusion (a good one). If I had to compare it to any film in particular, it's very much like inception (with time travel instead of dreaming) but with the mind bending power of memento. very good film, I'd check it out if you were looking to kill an afternoon. you can find it on Netflix, but be warned, the film is kinda low budget (totally makes up for it in content)

I really liked Children of Men for its camera work, scenery, emotions of the characters, and unexpected moments. It also made me cry at one point.

Source Code- I really liked how they portrayed alternate realities in that one.

The Saint- Better than James Bond. Period.

Howl's Moving Castle- "May all your bacon burn" and Christian Bale. Best Childhood ever.

Diehard 1 and 2- They're just great.

Little Shop of Horrors- Comedy gold.

There are more but I can't think of them or other people already said them.

Also, my favorite movie has to be the one I can remember the most. Iron Man 3 since I just watched it. Marvel's the Avengers since it was connected to several other movies and even a show I liked watching: Iron Man 1+2, Thor, Hulk, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest heroes(this one was the show I liked and you could probably tell why from seeing the first episode).

I guess I like stuff that interconnects... explains why I love Bittersweet Candy Bowl so damn much.

I think the only movie I've been eager to watch multiple times was The Incredibles

.. except for the first Pokemon movie and Sonic OVA which I watched ad nauseum

i don't think that's a good indicator of my taste though lol

Offend you? No, more like make you mad(or however you feel when you become sarcastic). I could try thinking of something that would actually be offensive and maybe even petty, but that is not like me and I doubt Meowth would ever do anything to try and hurt somebody's feelings... well on purpose.

What do you think of the Step Up movies. I really liked Step Up Revolution, but who would love a movie with people dancing as a form of public protest in order to save their city?

Christ that first pokemon movie. I like how they misnamed one of the pokemon in the movie, I hope everyone caught that, because when I was 10 or whatever I did. Even had a birthday party at the theatre for that movie even though I had already seen it, heh.

Oh as for favorites, uh I have a special place in my heart for Episode V. Then there's stuff like Beerfest, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle/ Escape from Guantanamo Bay and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. Terrible terrible movies but super enjoyable and if either is on TV, Awwww yeah drop everything.
I can't seem to recall the other favs actually... Probably because I don't watch movies much anymore.

I absolutely love films that establish a creepy, atmospheric feel. The first three listed above do just that; for Let the Right One In, it helped that the book was amazing as well.

Thank you Meowth for reminding my why I am not going to be driving anytime soon. Also, you made me think about the Fast and Furious movies: 2 Fast 2 Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious: Tokyo Drift were my favorites of the series(so far). The Scramble from 2 Fast, 2 Furious was basically a bunch of cars driving out of a building that was cornered by police cars and escaping(i'll watch it a hundred times before I get bored

). Tokyo Drift... it's drifting and I think that is cool. I'm a lot more into visuals when it comes to movies... all a movie needs is a script that isn't terrible, a good cast, and nice visuals(oh and good music can help).

I haven't seen it yet since it hasn't come out, but Man of Steel is soon going to be my favorite movie because the previews look amazing and because Superman is in it. I'll probably give more when I see the whole movie and not just a few minutes of it.

I didn't so much think it was bad as it was... not good? Like it was just kind of dissapointing. Though as far as I've heard the DVD version with all the deleted scenes put back in and the Tales of the Black Freighter animation cut into it is much better. I plan on getting around to that at some point.

Regarding Watchmen itself, some of the acting was definitely awful, but honestly I went to see Rorschach in action. He was fucking awesome, pretty much made the whole movie for me.

This is my sister's favorite and I like it too: The Hunger Games because Catniss was a strong female character that made some difficult decisions and cared more about love than about winning some messed up game... she gave the crowd something to cheer about.

My sister absolutely loved the book and tried to get me to read it... my teachers had tried to make me read over the summer too and that didn't work out for them either 8-D

300 was pretty poor. Zach Snyder also made Sucker Punch, which I think Kaxbe already mentioned in the terrible movies thread as being fucking atrocious. So I mean 300 isn't the *worst* film he's made, but it's pretty up there.
