I realised I have rarely seen anyone eat in this comic. Maybe there is a food shortage Teashi's not telling us about? Mike clearly states that he is very hungry in the Confrontation chapter when he's offered the chocolate.

Somewhat improbable, what with Michael catching fish and Tess's party having rather a lot of things for people to stuff their mouths with. But fair enough.

But seriouly, America is a diverse place. I do wonder why there aren't any larger people. Probably because it's very diffrent to draw.

That'll fix the problem well enough.

These anthropomorphic cats and dogs have the strength of will, the courage, to do what we cannot.
I, for one, salute them.

Anyway I think part of the reason is because the characters were just designed that way, and I mean I've been considering adding some pounds to characters, but who? They're all relatively athletic/active. I've been wanting to have Daisy get bigger because of her ragamuffin gene but I've been implored not to do that by Souppy because she's like his favourite character, HA.
I just don't see the need in the characters I have so far.

And she did it to the Gay Character too. HMMMMM...

I seriously just assume some characters are "religious because of their parents" but they don't EVER really mention it or talk about it because they don't really care. I mean that's how I was at high school and how many of my friends were. I can picture Mike and Lucy's family as christians, but they would be all "huh" about it.
Or rather Mike would be accepting and Lucy would be all "fuck that noise i wanna sleep on sunday :l"
Mike and Lucy used to go to church in the old series, then again. ha ha ha

"un-ask it" got me laughing =D
Relax, that was funny
Someone, please draw a fanart with chubby characters!
Oh, don't make Daisy grow in weight... She's a cheerleader!
She'll cry
We could assume there was no concept of religion too.

The technology in BCB is too primative for a world that would have no concept of religion. As shown before the cars do not hover, the cast does not teleport to school, and there are no holograms. If science was the only thing that existed we'd have these things in BCB but whatever religions that exist in BCB prevent this from happeneing...what were we talking about anyways fat cats or something? I unno....fat David :|

I guess it'd be kind of tough to introduce religion to the series now. I mean, I guess I can see Abbey and Daisy going to a church of some kind "off-camera" so-to-speak, and maybe even Paulo and Mike. Lucy, not so much. And Sue even less.
But David is a closet-Muslim. You know. Like Obama.

Actually, advanced science probably would not exist if it were not for religion. Consider Muslim and Jewish scholars in the Middle Ages, or Christian philosophers in classical antiquity, or even the scientists from the Age of Enlightenment and before. ^_^

Yes, I'm currently reading a book on this :3
But hey, maybe the lack of supreme technology forces them to use their bodies, keeping them in shape.

She just seems like one of those women whose looks would go downhill pretty fast. I mean, have we even seen Daisy's mom? IS SHE A FATTY?! IS THERE A FATTY HIDING IN THE BACKGROUND?!
