I'm for Lucy X Mike personally, just because that’s how I feel and Paulo X Lucy feels unnatural to me. But as long as Lucy ends up happy and sandy disappears I’m fine.

But that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I am not thinking along those lines, because then I’d probably favour Paulo X Lucy. I just think when you look at the personalities... really none of the options truly match. As I said I’ll be happy so long as it just all works out for everyone.

But even the way that Lucy and Mike are drawn leads you to believe that it could happen.

And if I could just restate; that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.

What exactly do you mean by 'matching personalities'? Are you implying incompatibility or just the fact that their personalities are different? I think you should elaborate a little more on the specifics.

I think the way the comic is drawn entices fantastical fans to believe any couple is feasible.

As for the personalities... Well Mike is someone who, if this was in the real word, would probably become captivated by one person (as he is) but it would get to a point were his captivation turns him down or the relationship doesn't work out. Then he'd become really pissy because he feels like he wasted his time and opportunities, get really depressed and depressing or keep trying anyway. Mike is also heavily protective and would be the jealous type but he has a good heart and helps all he cares about.

Paulo has gone though a personality change so he is still up in the air for me, mainly because this personality change will affect his chances with Lucy. Of course he is the type that flirts with every pretty girl walking the earth. But of late, and much to David's dismay, he has stopped doing that. Maybe he's growing up and things will work out for him and Lucy, but as we have yet to see any proven change, so I’ll continue to observe with interest.

Lucy is insecure to the extreme. Her emotions are confused at the moment due to recent events and she feels the need to cling in general. That is a quality that will turn a lot of people away. Mike got pissed at her because she followed him around and without him she was like a lost, hand-fed puppy. But she is highly loyal and doesn't care what the majority of the population think and has confidence in her abilities in think.

Because the cast are teenagers and emotions, thoughts and personalities are changing it make for an interesting combination. Ultimately it is too soon to tell but judging from what I know about physiology and the way people change, I believe that Lucy and Paulo have the highest chance of succeeding. But this is being written by someone who has a story to tell. She can change whatever she wants so my cool calculated logic holds little in an artificial world that I had no hand in creating.

But... These are just my opinions, I could be wrong.

To me, Mike seems to be the kind of kind-hearted person all the time, but is liable to flip-out if he can't get his power-trip from people being at his feet all the time.
By retrospect, Paulo is a much nicer person

Lucy is dependant, needs someone who is entirely committed to her well-being.
