I will not critic the drawing, as I suck at drawing too

The history... well man, it's not easy to write a nice character. I see the history a typical "Oh-my-God-how-disgraced-I-am!". You know, for making a nice character you don't have to make him suffer (really!).
I have seen that many times, in role games, histories, writings, etc. Authors that think that a deep character need a disgraced history. But what makes a character
deep and
interesting, it's not only his history. It's how will he
reacts to his history.
If you have read the 7th book of Harry Potter, you will know the complete history of Severus Snape. That is one of the greates characters I have ever seen. Not only the "traumatic" part of the history, but if fact, the psycologycal reaction of him to that history.
(Sorry for not saying more, but I don't want to make an spoiler here

).
What you have done is to imagine a couple of actions and little personality facts withouth thinking pretty much on it. "Ron will be a little Abbey-Mccain-ish[...]". Ok, good, WHY?
Ok, now a little help for you. Let's say that you want to continue that character. Put yourself in the situation,
imagine you are that character. So, you uncle crippled you to a wheel chair. How would you react after, in your new family? Would you seek for protection? For solitude? Would you be kind? Would you be afraid? Would you search new friends?
...Damn more that 24 hours withouth sleeping well. Going to sleep. Good night
